- This is valid for both Sims 3 and Sims 4.
- In Sims 4, a Resource.cfg folder should already be generated for you inside of your Mods folder, but if it isn't, then create on in notepad/textedit, and enter/save this information into it:
- Priority 500
- PackedFile *.package
- PackedFile */*.package
- PackedFile */*/*.package
- PackedFile */*/*/*.package
- PackedFile */*/*/*/*.package
- These lines will work the same for a Sims 3 Resource.cfg file, so you really can just copy and paste this file into your Sims 3 mods folder if you've made one for 4. If for whatever reason you are on Windows and have issues with the Resource.cfg file setup written here, change the "/" to "\" using the Find and Replace function in Notepad. This should not be an issue though.
