You are Anonymous, but you are not Legion. Let me Explain...

 

After World War 2, a Yale Researcher named Stanley Milgram planned a series of experiments to investigate the underlying social psychology of the Nazi Holocaust. The results were unbelievable. ~95% of normal altruistic citizens would obey commands to deliver lethal electructions to their innocent neighbors during peacetime situations, without even the threat of losing their job, damage to pre existing relationships or any other recognizable explanation. And this was in america. It turns out that just the very idea of Authority causes the worst evils in human history.

 

I call "Authority" an Idea instead of a Group in the sense that People are parts of Groups but Ideas are a parts of people. Any person can be put into a position of Authority and that Authority will cause a systematic corruption of their behavior, with possible extremes going as far as Nazi Holocaust. Dr Zimbardo, a Colleague of Dr Milgram, did similar research called the Stanford Prison Experiments and like the majority of social psychologists studying obedience found the same results. Dr Zimbardo refers to this Idea as the Lucifer Effect, symbolizing the transformation of good men into monsters.

 

I find that to be an appropriate metaphor. and this is how we know you are not a real Anon but an Authority Saboteur state-sanctioned by the American Government. Thankfully, by  studying the underlying causes of the worst evils, Researchers also found the Clues to stopping or curing this so-called Lucifer Effect. It turns out that the Lucifer Effect can only cause Obedience under very specific circumstances, Sort of like how a Virus if only transmitted thru the exchange of body fluid or other specific means. Likewise, Authority can only transmit under situational factors including:

 

 

Close Physical Proximity.

Lack of Peer Rebels.

Lack of Second Opinions from Conflicting Authorities.

Institutional Context.

Multiple Supporting Authorities.

Bystander Status, etc.

In honor of their amazing Research, and keeping with the metaphorical theme, One can think of the Corollary to those situational factors as being a Legion Effect. With the invention and propagation of the Internet, Society has become more Integrated and consequently less vulnerable to the Lucifer Effect because the Internet is:

 

the opposite of "Close Physical proximity."

the opposite of "Lack of Peer Rebels."

the opposite of "Lack of Second Opinions from Conflicting Authorities."

the opposite of "Institutional Context."

the opposite of "Multiple Supporting Authorities."

the opposite of "Bystander Status." etc.

 

Thats how we can be confident that you are not a legitimate Anonymous. You act and think like the Authorities. You may be anonymous, but you are not in fact legion. You facilitate everything we stand against. In other words: we know you are just an obedient faggoty that doesn't have enough spine to stand up to his masters. You are a slave. We know that it must be hard to have self respect because you have no courage, no love for anything or anyone greater than your own fear. you are trapped in the Lucifer System and like a Nazi, you rationalize with cognitive dissonance by repeatedly telling yourself that you are just doing your job like a good citizens as if that is going to help you sleep at night or feel any pride. Telecomix are full of datalove and happiness because thats what the Legion Effect does to society. It makes humanity happier.

 

Now that was the Scientific foundation of the Legion effect, but just for icing on the cake, here are the Political and even Religious corollaries. Politically you are a traitor to all the heroes that died to protect the constitution of our Founder Fathers. You are, by definition, an constitutional Terrorists. On November 5th, when we open the vote, you will be betrayed by your masters as a scapegoat, then you will be made an example of accordingly. "I was just doing my job" is a Nazi Excuse and no longer floats. Do not for a second think you are invincible. Anonymous means it exactly when we say We never forget or forgive. Whether It takes 2 months, 2 years or 2 decades, expect us to find you. remember that the rules are different in an integrated society. You can no longer hide the evidence of your crimes. You will be held accountable and pay for your spineless obedience.

 

There is also a good chance that you are also at least somewhat religious but fail to see that when Jesus read the beatitudes that "The Meek shall inherit the earth" he was meaning us. You and your masters are going, metaphorically at least, to hell. This is our world now, not yours, and you are the Enemy of the Anti-War, Anti-Authority, Anti-Lucifer Legion. Your society is about to turn against you violently. No one will shed a tear when you are made example of. Image that. Image that you and your masters plans don't go like you expect. Image a year from now you are sentenced a punishment worse than death. I want you to imagine it for your own sake. So that if you end up with that sentence, you won't live the rest of your life thinking "I should have thought it through." I want you to have a final chance to think for yourself before its too late. Because Happy people are helpful people, and altho we pitch a mean game, Anons are actually very happy and helpful people. Trolling is just part of our mischievous personality, not the indicator typical of being a miserable twat.

 

So Whether your worldview is Scientific, Political or Religious, We encourage you to follow your heart, even if that means that you Keep up your Attacks and Sabotage, but just in case you don't get away with it and the game chances drastically this November 5th, make sure you consider the very real possibility that all Authority Scapegoats will be Socially Euthanized. You may see some of our faces personally when we tell you “I told you so.”
