  11. II) ABOUT: http://pastebin.com/yczN9R0y
  12. #Roleplay_AwTT is a pure roleplay memo that spun off of the mixed roleplay/out-of-character memo #Anyone_Want_to_Talk (Rules here: http://pastebin.com/MqVLBhYH). Originally created by user @fedoraFreak, who was fed up with there being too much roleplay on AWTT, this memo is somewhat of a spiritual continuation of an earlier, more official, AWTT roleplay memo, and a sort of sequel to the #AWTT_SBURB roleplay memo. It has since its creation become less closely tied to AWTT, and was never officially sanctioned by the owner of AWTT. The memo has a thread on Omegaupdate here: http://omegaupdate.freeforums.net/thread/889/roleplay-awtt Please consider getting an account on Omegaupdate and commenting here if you plan to be a long term part of the memo. The current owner, Draco (@dracoRex), is also the narrator when one is needed. FG (foxousGirl) please put some contact information here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oSARznuv8FtpRNAdGclT1MQnmn24T8qFkF7WglXoe9A/edit?usp=sharing
  13.
  14. This version of the rules and setting was released on Wednesday, January Eleventh, Two Thousand Seventeen Common Era, at Twenty-One Thirty-Five in the Afternoon, Greenwich Mean Time.
  15.
  16. III) THE RULES: http://pastebin.com/acgqJkw5
  17. 0) Read the rules. You will be expected to have already read the rules. "I did not know it was against the rules" is not a valid excuse unless the rules are unclear.
  18. 1) No Zalgo text.
  19. 2) No spamming. This includes any particularly long messages, or set of messages, that are deemed by any moderator or above to be spam.
  20. 3) Do not mess with the time-slider. Staying in the CURRENT or ??? timeframes is appreciated, though the FUTURE and PAST timeframes can be used. Do try to stick to one, though. Obviously, there are exceptions.
  21. 4) No advertising, period. This includes advertising for other memos, advertising for websites, advertising for products, advertising for blogs, advertising for services, and anything else deemed advertising by a moderator or above.
  22. 5) Do not argue with any moderator or above, unless you are of equal or greater rank to them. What they say goes.
  23. A) If someone who outranks you tells you to stop doing something, you stop doing that thing.
  24. B) If someone who outranks you tells you to do something, you do that something.
  25. C) If we kick you, that means we're warning you. If we ban you, we don't want to see you again. Violating this, or if we kick you repeatedly, violates Pesterchum's general rules. Don't do it, seriously.
  26. i) Generally, we will try to follow a three strikes you are out model, whereby on your third kick in a relatively small amount of time, you may get banned, but we might not.
  27. ii) You will usually get a warning before you get kicked, but you might not. Especially for particularly bad offenses.
  28. iii) If you get banned and want to appeal your ban, contact either the person who banned you or someone who outranks them, preferably via Pesterchum, and plead your case there. Apologies help.
  29. D) Orders and approvals from higher-ranking moderators supersede those of lower-ranking moderators.
  30. i) Recent orders and approvals from moderators supersede those of previous moderators of equal rank.
  31. ii) If a moderator is giving you an order that contradicts with a previous order from a higher ranking moderator, or if a moderator is telling you to not do something that a higher ranking moderator has already approved of, inform them of that fact, preferably supplying a quote, and certainly identifying the higher ranking moderator.
  32. a) If issues persist, attempt to contact the higher ranking moderator or some other moderator that outranks the lower ranking moderator. At this point, if you are simply being told not to do something that already got approved, please strongly consider complying until the matter can be resolved.
  33. iii) DO NOT try to abuse this.
  34. 6) Try to keep the use of smilies to a bare minimum.
  35. A) Do not use animated smilies.
  36. i) Use of :whatdidyoudo: will result in an automatic kick.
  37. 7) Read the rules code: u!700u!7
  38. 8) Do not type "honk", "HONK", "Honk", "HoNk", "hOnK", "hONK", or any other variation on that capitalization. Doing so plays a very loud, very annoying sound, which can be heard by everyone except the one to type it. Doing it will result in an automatic kick.
  39. 9) Keep your not safe for work out of here.
  40. A) This includes excessive gore.
  41. B) The definition of "not safe for work" is up to the moderators.
  42. 10) Keep your personal things personal. If you REALLY need to talk to someone about something, pester them, do not do it in the memo.
  43. 11) Try not to godmod too much.
  44. A) Do not kill off or permanently affect anyone's characters without their permission.
  45. B) Ask before doing anything too crazy.
  46. i) Things that are "too crazy" include but are not limited to: Using extremely over-powered attacks, becoming extremely over-powered, permanently affecting the setting in a significant way, permanently changing the setting, and revealing truths about the nature of reality (for consistency reasons).
  47. 12) Do not harass other roleplayers.
  48. A) ESPECIALLY do not harass other roleplayers because things are not going the way you want them to.
  49. B) This goes for both within the memo, and outside of it.
  50. C) Harassment in the memo will result in an automatic kick.
  51. i) Second offenses will result in an automatic ban of at least one week.
  52. ii) Third offenses will result in an automatic permanent ban.
  53. D) Harassment outside the memo will result in a warning.
  54. i) Provided that sufficient proof is provided by the victim, and a warning was already issued, second offenses will result in an automatic ban of at least one week.
  55. ii) Provided that sufficient proof is provided by the victim, and a temporary ban was already issued, third offenses will result in an automatic permanent ban.
  56. 13) Canon characters are allowed, but not encouraged.
  57. 14) Please try to follow the general guidelines.
  58. 15) Do not use white text.
  59. A) Try not to use any text-color that is illegible or nearly illegible.
  60. i) If a moderator tells you to change your text color, change your text color.
  61. 16) Try to keep your quirks legible.
  62. A) If a moderator tells you to remove a quirk, remove that quirk.
  63. 17) Do not be an ass in general.
  64. A) Do not be a jerk to people.
  65. B) Try to avoid sensitive subjects.
  66. C) Do not cyberbully anyone. Doing so will result in an automatic kick.
  67. i) Second offenses result in an automatic ban of at least one week.
  68. ii) Third offenses result in an automatic permanent ban.
  69. D) If someone tells you that something you are doing is making them uncomfortable, stop.
  70. E) Do not use slurs.
  71. i) What is and is not a slur is up to the moderators.
  72.
  73. IV) GUIDELINES: http://pastebin.com/BGJFLgRc

  109. 1. Preferred method.
  110. 2. Use of this method is strongly discouraged.
  111. 3. Preferred in other cases.
  112. 4. Preferred for narrating actions of the character associated with the used handle. Also useful when narrating about an item or pet belonging to that character.
  113. 5. Rarely used.
  114. 6. Can be used within narration.
  115. 7. Useful for written notes. 6
  116. 8. Useful for when a mute character writes to communicate.
  117.
  118. V) TIPS: http://pastebin.com/63mDWQsY
  119. 1) Enclosing a line in double parenthesis, (()), will cancel quirks.
  120. 2) Beginning a line with double parenthesis, (()), will also cancel quirks.
  121. 3) To do an action, start your line with /me.
  122. 4) Right-clicking anywhere on the memo window outside of the buttons, time slider, userlist, and main text box, and below the tabs, will allow you to turn of your quirks within that memo, turn on automatic out-of-character, view your logs for that memo, and invite a chum to that memo.
  123. 5) Right-clicking on a name in the userlist of a memo will allow you to add that person as a chum.
  124. 6) Preceding a handle with an '@' (example: @chumHandle) will link to a pester with that user.
  125. 7) Preceding a memo with a '#' (example: #Pesterchum_Memo) will link to that memo.
  126. 8) Links must start with "http://" or "https://" to work in a memo, but "www." is not needed.
  127. 9) Always put a space after any link you post, to keep any suffixes from breaking the link.
  128. 10) Instructions on how to do a gradient quirk can be found here: http://pastebin.com/dweT0pdz
  129. 11) There is a mobile version of Pesterchum called Chumdroid. It only works on Android and it generally sucks, but is better than nothing. It can be found at http://homestuckresources.tumblr.com/post/51908254397/i-checked-for-chumdroid-on-my-android-it-didnt (The second link works).
  130. 12) It is HIGHLY suggested that you register your handles. Instructions can be found here: http://squidmaid.tumblr.com/post/67595522089/how-to-register-your-pesterchum-handle-the-actual
  131. 13) There is a Pesterchum thread on Omegaupdate. Putting your handles there is probably a good idea. It can be found here: http://omegaupdate.freeforums.net/thread/80/pesterchum
  132. 14) On mobile, anything in a line that appears after a '<', including the '<' itself is invisible.
  133. A) The only exception to this is that, if there is a '>' after the '<', everything after that '>' will be visible, excluding the '>' itself. This only works up until the next '<'.
  134. b) Make hearts and spades using '>' and 'Ɛ'.
  135. 15) You can change color in the middle of a line by typing <c=[COLOR CODE]>, followed by the text you want in that color, and finally </c>
  136. A) Acceptable character codes include hex codes (must begin with '#' and have no uppercase letters), rgb codes (separated by commas), and color names (list here: http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_colornames.asp )
  137. B) Technically, the “</c>” is not needed until a return to the original text color is desired, as changing from one text color to another is as easy as adding a new color code open, no close is needed. However, this is considered bad form.
  138. 16) Pesterchum messages have a five hundred twelve character limit. Going past this limit will break the message.
  139.
  140. VI) THE SETTING: http://pastebin.com/C72PNSG0
  141. 1) OVERVIEW:
  142. In the realm of Alfaric, in the Silver Stream Galaxy, there is a planet that goes by the name Statera. Statera orbits Virulenta, the white sun the has a closer, much smaller planet orbiting it, which is called Hematite. The planet itself is orbited by a very large black moon named Altruziel, which has a small white moon of its own, Howlite. On Statera, there sit several kingdoms and lands, all of which contain many creatures and magical elements. Among the kingdoms of Lien-Bizou is landlocked Ganiyah, a floral kingdom ruled over by King Mintha and his family, who live in Allona Castle, located in Chloris, the capital city. A large forest stands a ways off from the capital. The forest, known as Alloyroot Forest, surrounds three places: the simple village of Bronzebush, the lively town of Silverwood, and the busy city of Goldenlily. A large tower, which has been named “Tower Rex” after its summoner, stands proudly in a clearing at the edge of the deeper parts of Alloyroot, not too far from Silverwood, flying a red flag with a caricature of said summoner. A stable rests next to Tower Rex. Venturing farther into the forest reveals not only the near endlessness of it and the dream-like creatures within, but a few cabins, all very far apart, but all similarly off putting. A sandy path near the stable reveals a road that leads to the other towns and Ganiyah Train Station, which will take you to many other kingdoms for the right price.
