seraphita windows 95 cue and bin

a guest Jan 29th, 2016 132 Never
  1. buildfag here, no new builds yet. Still figuring out the AIR thing.
  2.
  3. In the meantime if anyone with windows (or linux, where WINE works, or possible OS X) wants a futanari game to play, found an old visual novel (untranslated) from the mid nineties called 'Seiyoku Gakuen Seraphita Akuirejia Hakusho' - by 'Space Project.'
  4.
  5. The PC98 version was pretty easy to find but I found the windows 95 version (with some better graphics and more content and CD audio) as a cue/bin CD image on a korean peer-to-peer service called ClubBox. Re-uploaded it here for you.

  10.
  11. To mount it in linux, use a program like cdemu, and then to access the data track (it's a multi-session disc) run:
  12.
  13. mount -t iso9660 -o session=2,ro /dev/sr<number> /path/to/mount/to/
  14.
  15. If you get garbled text in linux, edit /etc/locale.gen.
  16.
  17. Search for the text 'ja_JP.UTF-8'.
  18.
  19. If you find it on a line commented out, uncomment it (remove the '#'), save it, and then run:
  20.
  21. sudo locale-gen
  22.
  23. Next time you try running the game in wine, run wine as:
  24.
  25. LANG=ja_JP.utf8 wine exefile.exe
  26.
  27. Meanwhile, windows users: You want to install applocale, and on old versions of windows (like XP), you'll want to install 'support for east asian languages'. Set the program language to '日本語' (Japanese) in the AppLocale wizard thingy.
  28.
  29. No idea what Mac OS users will have to do locale-wise, but I know wine is available for it in the forms of winebottler as well as macports and fink and brew packages.
  30.
  31. Here's an ISO image of just the data track - it's easier to mount or extract, but you won't get red book CD audio. You can still play the game with it, though.

  37. Anyway, I liked it. Lots of futa. A lot of talking before you get into anything, and the controls are weird (you drag faces onto panels to make decisions) but it works.
  38.
  39. There's a full gallery of photos on the disc, and some HTML files to browse through them if you want to.
  40.
  41. Alternatively, they're online here:
