  2. The source is a backhall from the studio to an on-demand provider or Canada (Like to Global or something). They're not getting physicalmasters and ripping off those.

  6. Depends on how much they produce, South Park is done one episode a week so that's impossible to get ahead of time.
  7.
  8. Maron on the other hand might be mass produced and sent to providers early, or they may have started sending them four weeks ago thus what DIM capped this week was early. They're not going to wait the longest possible time to send things to providers and on-demand distributors if they can send them early.
  9.
  10. DIM is using c-bands and have access to decryption keys, they do not have a studio source giving them masters weeks in advanced.
  11.
  12. The only advantage they have over the average person with a C-BAND is that they have all the decryption keys so they can capture ANYTHING sent over a C-BAND, most people can only capture NBC and CBS (with logos) as they're not encrypted.
  13.
  14. That's why DIM stopped doing FOX, American Dad and such, the decryption keys change every three years or so they've lost access to the bugged FOX backhall but they still have access to the clear FOX backhall. But the reason they didn't use the clear FOX backhall was because it clashed with other shows they normally do, that's why now that there's less TV airing they're able to do AMC, USA and FOX preair again.
  15.
  16. In short, DIM is not using WEB or studio masters. They're using C-BANDS to capture backhall preair.

  20. Ok they lost the decryption keys to FOX's branded backhall they change every few years, HOWEVER they still have they unbranded backhall.
  21.
  22. They choose to do certain shows because they don't want to draw too much attention to themselves also if you have three C-BANDS and you need to capture five channels worth of shit at the same time... You need to choose, or crap might air at 5 in the morning and you have to remember it takes time to move these C-BANDS you can't just point it on one direction, it needs to move get aligned then you can start to capture.
  23.
  24. Other groups don't do it because C-BANDS cost a lot, they're big not everybody has the space at their house to put them up and you can only really cap CBS and NBC without decryption keys.... Not everybody is lucky enough to get the decryption keys, LOL may have somebody that works at a relay station or something or they've cracked them. I assume they have a guy that gets them the new codes.
  25.
  26. The branded NBC and CBS C-BANDS are about 40 Mbps NBC is mpeg2 and CBS is mp4. I'm not sure about their on-demand feed I'd assume it depends on the studio sending it, every studio masters things differently.

  30. Network bugs that have been faked are clearly fake, a few times they've bugged crap that was already bugged and they got nuked and propered for it by FQM.
  31.
  32. CBS backhall is unencrypted I'm not sure if it's logo free, if it is they're using that else they're using backhall from the studio to Canada or somewhere like I said before.
  33.
  34. NBC backhall is unencrypted and bugged, FOX backhall is crypted and bugged.
  35.
  36. NBC has some weird ass backhall such that it's two streams and the bugs are in their own stream and content on their own stream... Then they're combined into the one stream can't remember how it all works exactly.
