They are out to get you. They have been for years, and you know it. You will sometimes wake up in the middle of the night with cold sweats, only to spot something out of place from when you went to sleep - a chair facing the wrong way, or the books on the shelf in a different order, always something small. It's driving you insane.

You eventually decide to flee, packing a pair of suitcases and driving away for miles. You didn't tell anyone you were going - you didn't really know yourself, to be honest. Eventually you reach a random motel miles out of town, and get a room for the night. After the most peaceful nights rest you can remember in years you sit up in bed, only to notice a book sat on your suitcase. You didn't pack that book. Trigger.
