Please Note: This is not the FULL changelog, the server has been in development for far longer than it may seem so some things may be missing. I do a lot of work in a small amount of time, I then come back to this thread and update it with what I can remember doing. :-) I'm not going to try to pass off that all of these are cool new features, most of it is just fixing and updating stuff, but there's some really tasted goodies hidden in here too. :-) There will be a few things here, that you will recognize from elsewhere. Why? It's simple. There are many, many servers out there that are using our exclusive scripts without permission, or politely asking them to remove them in situations where we felt we have been violated, but to no avail, they continue to use them. Local IC chat changed to 10 rather than 20. Street illegal vehicles in shops no longer display tax. Vehicles in shops without speedos no longer display mileage. Friends overlay now hides/shows chat on open/close. Migrated integration system to MyBB on decision to ditch vBulletin. Removed old indicator system. Completely re-worked the login screen. Picture frames re-named to Wallpapers Added hint when smoking a joint for the /passjoint command. Fixed a couple of global debugs on paydays. Motorcycles now have steering locks. You can get on them but it will disable your steering. Vehicle alarm checking moved to server side to take load off the client. Added new alarm sound. Updated some automatic text ouputs and roleplay outputs in the vehicle system to make more sense. Alarms are no longer an item. They're now set via vehicle library/custom vehicle. Completely re-made the vehicle library create vehicle GUI. Completely re-made the unique vehicle edit/create GUI. Unique vehicles/vehicle library vehicles now have options to toggle the alarm, lights, immobiliser, speedo, key ignition, locking mechanism, remote locking, inventory, passenger seats, windows, visible VIN and visible plate. Allowing for much more realistic vehicle properties, ie; Old cars won't have alarms, remote locking, immobiliser etc. Giving you more reason to seek a mechanic to fit them(With VMT assistance), or, to buy a newer model. Unique vehicles no longer have the option for VMT to give them custom year, manufacturer and model. EVERY vehicle is now derived from the vehicle library, with custom properties now being all of the above properties, handling etc. "Reset" unique vehicle will now remove all custom properties and the vehicle will attain its original vehicle library properties. Added a automatic /me for signing the papers when purchasing a vehicle. Fixed a small /nearbyvehicles error. /nearbyvehicles now shows real vehicle name as well as GTA name. Vehicle library vehicles now have a set limit. For instance, it can be set that there will be a limit of 5 Lamborghini Gallardos. Once there are 5 spawned from the car shops/makeveh, they will never spawn again no matter what. This is to combat a unlimited source of niche vehicles. Vehicles that are bought used will always be worth the used price rather than being halved in price because you can't argue that you can just go buy one for $__,___. :-) Added "Vehicle Title" item for later use. Vehicle Library now sorts descending by the latest vehicle added. New strip mall map added to downtown. (Crimonious) New Burger Shot map added to downtown. (Crimonious) Updated automatic forum posts to MyBB database and BB codes. Added "bullets" item. Weapon library created. Added support for "custom weapons" detached from the weapon library. Added function to get measurements in feet and inches. Character heights are now measured in feet and inches, for example; 5' 9" - CAUSE MURICA Added a distance check to /look - If you can't remember what somebody looked like, that's your own fault. As in the real world. :-) Added a "maximum" magazine size to avoid people having ridiculous size magazines. Will expand on this with extended magazines later. Completely new fuel system that has options for gasoline, 2 stroke gasoline, diesel, race fuel, aviation fuel, electric and hybrid with their own set prices etc. All gas pumps etc re-worked. You can now use a slider to select how much gas you'd like to pump into your vehicle, you can also cancel part way through. Gas is now measured in gallons rather than litres. It takes 6 seconds per gallon to pump, so it's not always a smart move to fill up your tank. Updated fuel can image.(Crimonious) Added new fuel types for vehicles with realistic prices etc. Vehicles and players are now frozen whilst refueling. Vehicles will now turn to their vehicle and perform an animation whilst pumping fuel. Players can no longer cancel the pumping fuel animation. Vehicles now have a set fuel tank size in gallons. Dashboard fuel gauge percentage updated to use current fuel and fuel tank size. Fuel now rolls down to EMPTY rather than 1 gallon. Fuel now updates faster so you're more up to date with how much you have left. /fuelveh updated to only fuel to the size of the tank. Added optional [amount] to /fuelveh. Completely new vehicle description system, now supports different lines for exterior, interior, engine and trunk. Engine/trunk only shows with those vehicle parts open, unless it's a pickup truck then the trunk is always visible. Added blur shader to login, scoreboard, and F10 options. Moved accent to /look rather than it being in chat messages. /setaccent now uses ID rather than name. /accents now lists accent ID as well as name. You can no longer use animations to get out of knockout. New character selection screen and GUI. Added MPG to vehicles and recalculated fuel depletion. Added "Horn", "Seatbelt" and "Radio" options to vehicle creation. Added "Show or Display" option to vehicle creation, displays a sticker in descriptions. Updated vehicle shops to show new values and such, spawn with the correct amount of fuel for a full tank. Reverted to old weather system and realtime system, this choice will make sense shortly. New weapon description GUI. New weapon serial generation method. When deleting a custom weapon it now deletes it from the custom weapons database. Added "Metal File" item. (Crimonious) Metal file is now required to remove a weapon serial number. Automatic /ame when filing weapon serial off. New tint system, windscreens are no longer tinted but every other window is. Much more realistic and better to look at. Tinted vehicles will automatically update with the tint rather than needing a resource restart. If a vehicle is tinted, you can't see the interior description from outside. Updated character selection screen character placement. Updated /fuelvehs to use fuel tank size. Heavily updated shop system to be more "modern". Updated and added new GUI's and ped talk to the DMV. Updated and added new GUI's and ped talk to the City Office GUI. MDC now supports fingerprints. Players now spawn with a social security number(SSN). Added "Stolen Vehicles" and "Stolen Firearms" to the MDC. You can now report/unreport stolen firearms at the LSPD. You can now report/unreport stolen vehicles at the LSPD. Updated tow system. Updated the speedometer to look much more attractive. :-) Updated the scoreboard once again. "White" race renamed to "Caucasian". Completely new character creation GUI implemented. Hair color and Eye color are now a preset table rather than player written. Completely new /look GUI, no more /editlook, just /look * yourself. You now have 200 character text box to write a description of your character. When /look'ing another player, their age will only show their age class, ie; "Teenager", "Young Adult", "Adult" etc. Firearm Dealer shop now displays caliber in the grid. When buying a firearm from a Firearm Dealer you have to submit an app to the City Office faction, who then have the power to background check you, accept it or decline it. Once accepted you can buy the gun in the shop, if denied it'll tell you the reason why. You now receive a Firearm Transaction Record with all the details for your firearm when purchasing from a shop. Fixed weapons in shops bugging when going from one shop to another. Weapons now have a legal magazine size, standard magazine size, and extended magazine size. Legal sizes are uh, well, legal by state law. The others however, are not. But you can deal with that IC. :-) When applying for a firearm, you are automatically fingerprinted etc and inserted into the MDC database. When purchasing a firearm, the firearm is automatically inserted into the MDC firearms database with all your details. Removed any trace of the old weapon licensing system. Added a "Delete Application" button to /checkapps for City Office faction to remove stagnant firearm applications. /checkapps now allows you to read accepted/denied apps and shows the reason for the state. Max biz amount set to $150. Added alternative /ame's for remote locking or door locks. Added a sound effect for unlocking with remote locking. A characters firearms now display on their MDC page. You can now MDC search for a firearm serial. Added /takefingerprint to insert/update fingerprints in the MDC. You and the target player must be in the fingerprinting room in the LSPD. Added PM quick reply to 'U' key. All firearms now have unique damage values, so a .22LR is rather shit compared to a 7.62x39mm, the way it should be. Removed /eject, too powergamey. City Office can now perform background checks on applicants in /checkapps. When turning on an engine with a key, it takes the key off you and places it in the interior description of the vehicle, if it's in the interior description of the vehicle, turning the engine off will give you the key. Everything is possible from putting the seed into the pot all the way through growth stages to harvesting the bud, without any kind of admin interference.
