1. cd /the/folder/where/I/unpacked/nethack-3.6.0
2. cd sys/unix
3. sh setup.sh hints/macosx10.10
4. cd ../..
5. Okay now edit util/Makefile, src/Makefile, and ./Makefile. In each, uncomment the WANT_SOURCE_INSTALL=1 line, so it doesn't have the # in front of it.
6. make all
7. touch playground/sysconf
8. playground/nethack
