Thanks for the support everyone. Here's where we stand with everything. All items have been ordered and paid except for the acrylic panels for the evil scientist version. Those should be ordered in the next 24 - 48 hours. We're paying the company to take our .ai designs and convert them into CNC files to run on their machine now. As far as parts are concerned, we have gotten 60 hotends, the rest of the borosilicate glass and the panel standoffs for the evil scientist version. Heated beds are on their way from Japan (we have a picture of them in the box). Carbon Fiber tubes are on their way to us as well (but we're screaming for a tracking number). We have 80 frame kits that should be on their way to us any time. We're still waiting on the electronics to get shipped from panucatt... but that should happen any moment. Power supplies are on the way, but we are also screaming for a tracking number on that one. If you remember, we said that we ordered a wrong bearing... that new order is made and is on its way as well. We made a special order of filament for everyone too... and it is on the way (we're also replenishing our stocks from stuff that we took off the shelves to print with). The last minute order of SD cards is done. Everyone is getting 8GB sandisk cards (not cheap no-name knockoffs). We are 80m short of ptfe tubing and have opened a dispute with the seller. They tried to pull a fast one on us. Basically, they sent us 2 rolls marked 100m and one roll marked 50m and when we measured it, it came out to 170m total. After that, our email exchanges became a series of excuses. This shouldn't affect anyone because we have enough on-hand for most September deliveries and by the time we run out of what we have, we will have gotten more (one way or another). As far as assemblies are concerned, endstops have been assembled. We soldered them with enough wire that it should be enough for everyone and the dupont ends are crimped on already. Next 2 items to do are to tap the traxxas rod ends and to assemble the hotends (including ensuring the thermistors are soldered properly and have dupont ends on them). We've tested 20 ramps boards so far. We discovered yesterday that we needed to solder the connections to the heated bed and will be doing that as well. There are only 10 of those on hand today, so we can knock that out quickly. Shipping boxes are on hand and we have already divided things into bundles. For instance, there are 150 bags of "belt, bearings, gears, set screws and wrenches" and 150 bags of "endstops and hotend assemblies". Kysan packing material cuts quite nicely to fit in the internal boxes, so it is easy for us to pack those motors. Screws will be put into bags for us at the factory rather than having us do them here. That should save some time. Therefore, we expect to start shipping batches around Wednesday of next week if everything comes in as we expect it to. If anyone had doubts that we would meet the September date.... your doubts should be removed now.
