What'll Get You Warned:

Being Stupid (including text/leet speak).
Mini-Modding.
Arguing with mods.
Spam (one word posts, unrelated posts, quoting without adding anything, ect).
Pressing the enter key a lot (excessive spacing).
Flaming.
Useless Bumping (see below for more information).
Blatant Advertising (Including PM advertising - modest links in sigs are ok).
Sig violation (too big, inappropriate, ect).
Irrelevant Bumps.
Double Accounting - Second account will be banned.
Other warnings are Based solely on the discretion of the mod giving them.

What'll Get You Banned:

Multiple Warnings.
Massive Flaming (Cursing, total disrespect, ect).
Massive Spam.
Posting Illegal Serials/Torrents.
Posting porn.
Posting racist comments.
Theft of anothers intellectual property (Animations/Art).
Coming back under another name after a temp ban.
Being a bot.
These bans are INSTANT, you will not be warned. 
Other bans are based solely on the discretion of the admin giving them.

What's Ok
Relevant Bumps - Only if you add something substantial to the thread such as an animation to your thread. OR if adding to a conversation adding new information, or something informative. Use your common sense.
Relevant Double posts - Only if you add something substantial to the thread, like an picture to your thread, otherwise, edit your last post

In-Game Rules
1. No Griefing
This includes placing unwanted blocks of any type on other people's land/structures without their permission, or destroying blocks in or on said land/structures without permission. If you are caught doing this, an immediate kick/ban with or without warning will occur.

2. No Stealing
This is self-explanatory. We take stealing blocks, whether valuable or not, very seriously. this will also result in a kick/ban with or without warning. (hint: this also includes stealing other people's designs by copying what they build. This is a creative server, so you should come up with your own unique ideas.)

3. No Harassment
This is another thing we take very seriously here at Town of Iore. Harassment applies for everyone, even if you're a staff member. This rule effects both the in-game chat box AND the website's IRC chat. Usually a player will be warned first, but if the offense is serious enough, immediate action will be taken without warning. In other words, learn to respect and listen to your fellow peers, and you should have nothing to worry about in the future.

4. No Use of Illegal Materials
At this server, we restrict the use of certain materials due to their destructive properties on other people's structures. These items mainly include (but are not limited to):
- Lava
- Lava Buckets
- TNT
- Water (as placeable blocks)

- Fire: Fire is allowed to be used one or two ways: It can either be used to add light to a room (in which case it is seated on netherrack to insure it does not spread) or it can be used as general decoration (also located on netherrack). It CANNOT be used for it's destructive properties. Such activities are considered illegal on this server and will not be tolerated.
***NOTE: Under no circumstances will a mod or admin tell you it is okay to use illegal materials, unless it is stated in the rules (here) as an exception.

5. Donator-Specific Rules
Do not give away items (especially if they are of high-value) We can check logs to see if you do it, so don't think you can "sneak" it.
Do not use cuboid/worldedit to grief other people's structures anonymously. This is also logged, so users cannot sneak it.
Do not threaten/kill other users with worldedit. This is childish and immature, and its extremely against our policy

6. No Sharing Accounts/One Account Per Person
You may not share your account with anyone, for your own safety, if they do anything harmful or bannable on your account, you are held responsible for it. You also can only have one account, with few exceptions in which you have to talk to a moderator/admin about.
Pledges, who were once donors before being promoted, may have a secondary account for being a Pledge as Pledges only have specific permissions in comparison to a donor. This is one of the only exceptions to this rule.

7. Other Applicable Rules
Do not build walls around your creations. We have residency/protection plugins to prevent griefing by other users. When you make rather tall walls around your creation, all people see is a huge block of whatever material you used to make the walls, and not the creation itself. In other words, it makes the rest of the server look crappy too. 

8. Other Info
Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to restrict access to anyone and everyone that:
A. Threatens, or intends to disrupt or attempt to prevent access to our server by external means. (DDOS, port flooding)
B. Harasses any user outside of the server/forums
C. Breaks any newly-formed rules or policies that may or may not have presented in the past or on this page.
