A digital download is simply a copy of the image file, sized in one of three ways.

You can buy digital downloads at the sizes we have made available, which may include the following:

A 1Mpix image is roughly 1 megapixel in size. For example, an 816x1224 image is 998,784 pixels. Divide that by 1 million and you get .998784 (just under 1 Megapixel).

A 4Mpix image is 4 megapixels. This is approximately twice as tall and twice as wide as a 1MPix image. Example. It should allow for quality printing at most reasonable sizes. If you want to print at really large poster sizes, you would probably want a larger image.

An Original image is the exact image that the photographer has put online. It is the original size of the image, identical in every way.

Note: Not all sizes are available for all images. Downloads are subject to a license agreement. If you would like to purchase a Digital Download of an image not currently offered as such, please contact Brandolino Imaging.

If you are unhappy with your prints or gifts, Smugmug, our printing partner, will reprint or refund your order, whichever you prefer.
Simply send an email to help@smugmug.com within 30 days of receiving your order.
Note: Smugmug uses two professional labs renowned for their color accuracy, print quality and consistency. If EZ Prints is the lab we've selected for the images in your order and we have not chosen the auto-color option, no adjustments to your chosen photos are made. If Bay Photo is the lab we've selected for printing your images, we may chose to select the hand touch up option for the images. This option is much more precise, but does add additional costs to the order.
