  1. Riot needs to seriously stop shifting early game power and make games drag to late game. It's not fun and it's all a matter of who has the better late game. Lee Sin is notorious for his terrible late game but strong early game, he's interesting in this case because of the potential he has to make plays early game and effectively change the route of the game. With these changes now.. I have no idea what he's even good at anymore. Trading a strong early game champion to a mediocre early, mid and late game champ.. it's just wrong. He is a high risk and high reward champion, why nerf him rather than champions that have low risk and high rewards, who excel in all phases of the game such as Gragas or Lulu?

  3. Lee Sin's AD ratios have always been high, even with these changes, but we all know the risks in going assassin Lee Sin and tank Lee Sin. By going assassin Lee, you hope to take further advantage of your strong early game, but this forces you to steal kills to keep that strong phase to as much time as you want. This is detrimental to your team, but it's the only way to win if you don't want to go late game. But with the early game shifting so much, with the dragon changes, the turret changes, the ward changes, and now champions, it's really hard to take advantage of early game power. The jungle Xp changes also didn't help Lee Sin much, who was a strong counterjungler. People kept up in levels, further making Lee Sin harder to snowball. In late game you hope to 100-0 a squishy, and in return you die for it. That's the best situation you'd be hoping for in a straight 5v5. But with these changes, at what part of the stage of the game can you even 100-0 anybody, or even duel anyone? With Tank Lee Sin, you take advantage of his strong early base damage and outduel people and for easier tower dives, but you're making yourself hit that inevitable bad late game much faster.

  5. In all honesty, they just fucked up his safeguard so badly and gave no recompensation whatsoever. If he risks losing 100 energy to jump on a ward or minion, he should have his old W back where it used to give bonus armor and MR. Seriously, using 100 energy on a ward is TOO harsh. It's the difference between killing someone with his E and not because if you W to a minion and activate both Q's, you have no energy. There are some situations where you just can't AA to gain back energy and you need that 1 spell to just finish them off. Preventing Lee Sin from making these plays is not the right way to go. I mean, I understand it's to prevent Lee Sin from being so mobile in the jungler by constantly ward jumping and Q'ing to minions, but you have to take into account of his jungle clearing, ganking and lane Lee Sin.

  7. Lane Lee Sin, to be frank, is just garbage now, thanks once again for literally forcing a champion to stick to one role(which he is mediocre now to say the least). Lee Sin is a cheese champion in top lane, you either cheese level 2 and kill them and snowball to be some what useful in teamfights, or go even in lane and get outscaled. When you play lane lee sin, you force yourself to win by a huge lead. With the ulti nerfs and his W using up to 130 energy, he has 0 dueling potential or kill potential to kill anybody. W to a minion for better positioning and lose half your energy, then activating 2nd W to lose another 30 so you can't even trade properly with Q and E.

  9. What I hate the most is this ulti nerf. Nerfing the entire base damage by a WHOPPING 350 is not how you go about nerfing things. Rewarding players for landing 4man kicks is good, but even landing that much will not take more damage than what Lee Sin would have been taking before. His 1v1 kill potential is gone and he seems to be a teamfight champion now, which he is notoriously terrible at. He's great at catching people out, 3v2 skirmishes or dives, never a teamfight unless you can pull of an insec.
  10. I really shouldn't be surprised that Riot would do this sort of thing, I just don't know why I even have faith in them. Lee Sin is arguably the most balanced champion in this game, having a strong early game but infamous shitty late game that turns into a glorified support peeler or insec play maker, which doesn't often happen in most games that are plat or lower.

  12. edit: I honestly can't see what makes Lee Sin stronger for late game now. His damage across the board got reduced, how does a passive that increases attack speed by 100% for 2 hits in anyway compensate for a 350 base damage loss, not to mention the base damages on his other spells and E taking physical damage, which is much harder to counter against since armor is easy to stack compared to MR. He's an AD caster, he's not someone who is going to be AA'ing constantly. I understand it's to regain his energy back quicker, but he's still held down by cooldowns.
