Anonymous Call to Living Wage Activists Transcript

Greetings activists, we are anonymous. As you may or may not already know, the anonymous collective has recently pledged to use its strength to force the walmart corporation to pay its workers a living wage. Anonymous already has numerous ideas on how to make this happen, but we would like to hear from you. Anonymous is calling for a meeting of the minds so to speak. We are asking for all activists, both inside and outside anonymous, to participate in the free exchange of ideas, so that we may better use our resources to combat the wage theft of the walmart corporation. Seeing as activists interested in this issue live all over the world, these meetings will not occur in person, but online. For years anonymous has used a simple method of online communication known as internet relay chat, or i.r.c. In the description below there is a link to an anonymous web page explaining how to use i.r.c. for those of you who don't know. You may find the information helpful. Anonymous will be using this medium to host bi-weekly meetings on the topic of operation walmart. If you wish toparticipate in this discussion, information on what i.r.c. network and channel to use are in the description below. The first meeting will be on Saturday, February first, from seven to nine p.m. eastern standard time. There will be additional meetings every other saturday from that point on, at the same time. If this issue is important to you, please, join us in these bi-weekly meetings and add your voice to the discussion. This way, we may better use the tools of nonviolent civil-disobedience to force the walmart corporation to pay all its workers a living wage.
