Okay... here goes. My name is Victor Vantage. What follows is my account of our planet’s history – how it went from a barely habitable dirt ball to the paradise we know today.

Quick recap, for the uninformed. Earth was full. Humanity looked to the stars for new living space. Enter: Planet Oblivion. One of many habitable worlds ripe for colonisation. It was hostile at first, but with a little hard work and terraforming, the colonists started thriving. Oblivion was on a slow but steady path to becoming a true beacon of human civilisation. However, this progress was brought to an abrupt halt thanks to a crippling setback - the Genetics War. The story behind the war is... complicated. I’d best begin with the Remnants.
