  1. Geographic Features No Longer Georeferenced After Undo/Redo Geographic Feature Import

  3. 01) Start Application.
  4. 02) Load AST_L1B_00304282006155031_05022006131334_SWIR_Swath.tif.
  5. 03) Click Zoom To Fit button, contained by Display Toolbar.
  6. 04) Ensure Geo Toolbar is displayed.
  7. 05) Select Geo->Georeference.
  8. 06) Select GCP Georeference in resulting dialog, then click OK.
  9. 07) Import fe_2007_36047_arealm.shp.
  10. 08) Ensure fe_2007_36047_arealm.shp is overlaying the tif image.
  11. 09) Ensure fe_2007_36047_arealm.shp is listed as a Geographic Feature, via Elements Tab of Session Explorer.
  12. 10) Click Undo Button, contained by Standard Toolbar, until the Geographic Feature import has been undone.
  13. 11) Click Redo Button, contained by Standard Toolbar, as many times as possible.
  14. 12) Select Geo->Georeference.
  15. 13) Select SampleGeoref in resulting dialog, then click OK.
  16. 14) Note that the Geographic Feature is not redrawn to match the updated georeferencing information provided by SampleGeoref.
  17. 15) Via Elements Tab of Session Explorer, note that fe_2007_36047_arealm.shp is listed as an Annotation Element instead of a Geographic Feature.

  19. Step12-Step14 notes unexpected behavior.  Expected fe_2007_36047_arealm.shp to be redrawn with updated georeferencing information provided by SampleGeoref.  Expected fe_2007_36047_arealm.shp to remain a Geographic Feature.
  20. If fe_2007_36047_arealm.shp import cannot be undone/redone, would expect the view's undo stack to be cleared immediately after importing fe_2007_36047_arealm.shp.
