Dead poets society, characterization of Neil Perry.


Seen from the other peoples eyes, Neil seems to be a very condifent and popular student and he is also very great in school.He is only going on the school because of his fathers will.
Inspired by the english teacher, he reestablishes the "Dead poets society". He knows that he wants to become an acter, but his father is a very strict man and he aint giving Neil any choice about his furture.
He wants that Neal should study and then become a doctor.
Neil is too afraid to (konfrontere) to his father about what he want to do with his life. Mr. Keathon gives him a chance to act in a play, as long as its okay with his fahter.
He is never going to ask his father, instead his telling Mr. Keathon that it is okay with his father.
Neil is a very komplicated human being, due to his personality. Because of his lies to everybody around him, including himself.
when his dad realizes that Neil are lying about the acting, he refuces to let his son attend in lectures with Mr. Keathon. Therfore he is going to send him on a mitlitary academy.
He is so afraid of the konsekvenses that could happen, if he defyies the will of his father. Thats why he is going to take his fathers gun and kill himself.
