People truly desire scrumptious meals in the U.S. Do you know how many athletes consider
having a fast food meal after practice? Do you know how convenient that is for school
students? To get blamed for craving fatty foods should not be shunned in today's society. Fast
food chains like Mcdonald's and Wendy's have been providing jobs to citizens for over 50
years now. If there was to be a fat tax, it would interfere with personal liberties, cause major
businesses to decay, and affect the unwealthy immensely.
It is our right to want what we desire for. Who decides what is "junk" food and what isn't?
Imagine a kid passes by a Mcdonalds coming home from football practice, starving out of his
mind. Without a doubt he would have a splendid time wolfing down a big mac. Humbly
speaking, it's your decision to buy the food, therefore, it's your decision to higher your risk
for cardiovascular diseases.
Many of these fast food chains have been providing jobs for decades now. If the government
decided to impose a tax on fat or sugar content, these companies would simply dwindle.
"At least one quarter of American adults eat fast food everyday. And roughly 12% of
American's have worked at Mcdonalds." Imposing a fat tax is blasphemy, there's simply too
much at risk.
