Dear Hiring Manager,

My name is Zeal An and I am writing to express interest in the Web Development Intern position with the PBS Digital Product Development department.

Through my coursework in the Computer Science program at my college, I have completed entire courses in Python, as well as gained
experience with writing efficient and well-formed code. Additionally, in high school, I completed courses in web application development, and became very comfortable with web technologies through working with them over several years.

I have built websites completely from scratch multiple times, and as such I have the most expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I can confidently use Python, and although I have only worked with Django briefly, I have experience with back-end web development with Ruby on Rails and I will be able to quickly adapt. Additionally, through adding my own content into the computer game Minecraft, I am comfortable with deciphering other people’s code, using external APIs, and using Git to manage my code.

I believe that I will be able to contribute greatly to any PBS Digital products. Thank you for considering me for this position.
