If you installed Directory Opus and by mistake updated or allowed it to auto update, and subsequently
have Directory Opus blacklisted, this is how to get it working again without reinstalling windows.
WARNING: USE THIS TUTORIAL WITH YOUR OWN RISK. I HAD TRY IT AND MY SYSTEM WIN 7 64 BIT IS GOOD SO FAR.
BACKUP YOUR WHOLE REGISTRY IF YOU WORRY.
Before start, make sure hidden file is shown at Folder Options, tab View.
1. Install Directory Opus 10.
2. Don't restart.
3. Block DOpus 10 from connecting to internet via 3rd partyfirewall. Use Netlimiter 3, best recommended
If you don't like to install any 3rd party firewall, add these lines into your host file at:
%systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
127.0.0.1 gpsoftware.com.au
127.0.0.1 www.gpsoftware.com.au

4. Restart.
5. Run 'regedit'
6. Delete the subkeys at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\International\Time
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Clock
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\File Manager\Settings
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\BitBucket\TrashInfo\
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ComDlg32\DlgInfo\
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management\AppDataBucket\
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DesktopInterfaceMethod\
* Delete only subkeys, don't delete the main keys.
* Example of subkeys is
{93E77B44-276F-4A71-B9AA-F2CF4E99B7B3}
{5E2948B7-58F8-426D-B0CF-8221822BC084}
* It will ask you to confirm deletation as it might harm your system. Press yes.
7. Delete the contents of C:\windows\system32\inf32 but leave the inf32 directory. Skip if it has nothing.
8. Delete the following files. If the file is not found, go to the next one.
del /Q /A "%programfiles%\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopus.dat"
del /Q /A "%appdata%\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopus.dat"
del /Q /A %windir%\xpcc37.log
del /Q /A %windir%\system32\argtmp39.dll
del /Q /A %windir%\system32\inf32\*
attrib "%Systemroot%\..\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopus.cert" -s -h -r
del /Q /A "%Systemroot%\..\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\GPSoftware\Directory Opus\dopus.cert"
* Don't make my mistake - I went to the dos prompt and looked for the files and did not find them. Some are hidden at the dos prompt.
9. Delete sdpsenv.dat at C:\ProgramData\sdpsenv.dat
10. Install certificate given. The cert should be accepted by now as it works for me.
