# HOW TO EDIT THIS FILE:
# The "handy ruler" below makes it easier to edit a package description. Line
# up the first '|' above the ':' following the base package name, and the '|' on
# the right side marks the last column you can put a character in. You must make
# exactly 11 lines for the formatting to be correct. It's also customary to
# leave one space after the ':'.

ddate: ddate (SACRED DOCUMENT OF THE FROGS)
ddate:
ddate: ddate, a program that prints the current date in the Discordian
ddate: calendar. It was part of the util-linux package and at least since
ddate: 1994 it had been included in nearly all Linux distributions.
ddate: In August 2011 however, one of the maintainers of util-linux dropped
ddate: it out of the main codestream. This is exactly the same ddate version
ddate: that can be found in the util-linux 2.20 release.
