My name is Joseph DeSimpliciis; I'm currently studying Software Engineering at the Rochester Institute of Technology.

While what first sparked my interest in techonology and its accelerating influence in society was the unveiling of the original 2007 iPhone, what really got me into coding and development was seeing how integral it is in everything we do, from communication and media to web development and gaming.

While coding may be tedious frustrating at time, I've found that it's been even more fulfilling than it has been ever before; my career path has been even more fun than I'd expected. I love what I do and enjoy using the skills I've acquired as often as I can, whether it be by working in tandem with others at university or in a co-op, or coding my own plugins and server bots.

As enjoyable as its been to date, I'm excited to see what more I can do with the skills that I'm acquiring.
