- AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) _ Following a popular marketing trend, the Detroit Pistons have discarded their traditional logo and uniforms for jazzier and more colorful designs.
- With Grant Hill and Allan Houston serving as models Tuesday, the team unveiled the new teal-based uniforms with gold, black and maroon trim. The previous uniforms were blue, red and white.
- The former basketball logo with ``Detroit Pistons'' written on it has been updated to include flames and a horse's head.
- ``I like the colors. I like what they did,'' Pistons coach Doug Collins said. ``I thought they did a good job.''
