  3. Hello everyone,
  4.
  5. I hope you are all doing fine and having a good day so far. My name is (name) and I'm from (place) and I own 3 companies so far. Today I'm here to talk about entrepreneurs. In this speech I'll talk about the benefits of starting on your own, what it takes to become successful, and of course the pitfalls that come along the way.
  6.
  7. We have all had the good feeling of doing something that we have created, something that only we can identify and that matters to us. The benefits of starting on your own is that you can decide the outcome of your company/idea/passion, no one can tell you what you can or can not do. You will also have an easier time implementing things instead of asking for permission and hope for a yes. Another thing is that you are working with something you have a strong passion for, instead of working with something you do not care about. An example could be that you are working in a company, you would only care about your future in the job but not the company as a whole, because it isn't something that you have created, it is a job you took because it either was the only job you could get, or that you would get a high salary. We all know that when you work with something you enjoy, you'll most likely give everything for it since it's something you enjoy and have a really strong passion for. Another thing is that you can manage your own risks, we have all heard the phrase ''with high risks, come higher rewards'', if you take risks and they pay off you get all profit, isn't that something want everyone in here want? Especially if you know that the risk will pay off.
  8.
  9. If you want to become a successful entrepreneur, then you must enjoy what you do and give yourself to the project 110%. If you don't believe in yourself or you don't enjoy what you're doing then you are wasting your time, since the project will fail and won't have a future. If an owner of a new product doesn't believe in his product, then he won't succeed since faith is the core of the plan. You must plan everything from the start and manage the business with your heart, if you manage to do that then it shows that you have a strong love for your job or plan and it most likely result in success.
  10. It's hard to juggle your passion against school and work, my advice for everyone in here would be to use your ''idea/passion/job'' as an hobby to start with, in that way it will be something you enjoy doing in your spare time, and then you will have a good education next to you so you can fall back to, in case your projects will fail in the future.

  12. You all have to remember that you can start something out of nowhere, lets take Poppy Disney as an example, she started something that she always loved to do and from there she had a simple idea, and that to create a website with what she wears everyday, how crazy it may sound that is giving her success at the moment and many companies are trying to let her wear their clothes so they can get advertisement.
  13.
  14. If anyone has any questions then feel free to ask them, I would be glad to answer any questions out there in the audience. I want to thank everyone who has participated and listened to my speech. I want to thank your teachers for inviting me and asking if I wanted to give a speech about starting on your own, once again thank you for listening and have a good day
