Curses can be lifted, you could singlehandedly end the curse on your family by following your heart! Your grandmom is obviously telling you to follow your heart, a childs judgment isn't clouded by logical thinking, so that's why she's making you think of all these things from your childhood.

You're definitely going to teach me a lot about myself, and I you, we compliment each other pretty well. I think I can teach you how to be happy in the face of adversity and you can teach me a whole bunch of stuff, but if I had to pinpoint one thing maybe it's getting me more in tune with my emotions. I'm not emotional enough and you are overly emotional (Debatable? lol), maybe we are going to balance each other out and "align our chi's" ahahaha.
