  1. Psionics:
  2. After all the arguments, and a bit of running, I came up with a solution to the psionic problem.
  3. The key was to divide the psions in two groups: the major psions and the minor psions.
  4. Each of the two groups have their advantages and disadvantages, as well as canon representations.
  5.
  6. Minuses are nerfs compared to current rules
  7. Pluses are buffs compared to current rules
  8.
  9. In addition to these changes, some other changes changes are also needed:
  10. +Level 1 PP increased to 4d4+INT+blood.
  11. +Becoming a psionic reduces Constitution by -2.
  12. -Becoming a psionic reduces your mental save by -2 and your physical save by -1.
  13. +Lowblood save penalties reduced.
  14. -Racial PP/level are reduced by two all over the board.
  15.
  16.
  17. The Major Psion ("The Psion")
  18. Canon Examples: Aradia and Sollux
  19. +Knows two powers at level 1 (and probably MindKind/Jack of All)
  20. +Gains +1/+2 PP/level (undecided)
  21. +Can learn all powers
  22. +Gains +1 to Save DC's
  23. -Uses a d4 to roll for Hit Points
  24. -Can only use light armor
  25. -Cannot use a weapon larger than a d6
  26.
  27. The Minor Psion ("The Psionic Warrior")
  28. Canon Examples: Tavros and Vriska (Although Tavros was in general pretty shit cause Page)
  29. -Knows 1 Power at level 1 (and probably MindKind/Jack of All)
  30. -Can't learn all powers
  31. +Uses a d6 to rolls for Hit Points
  32. +Can wear Light and Medium armor
  33. -Cannot use a weapon larger than a d8
