- Psionics:
- After all the arguments, and a bit of running, I came up with a solution to the psionic problem.
- The key was to divide the psions in two groups: the major psions and the minor psions.
- Each of the two groups have their advantages and disadvantages, as well as canon representations.
- Minuses are nerfs compared to current rules
- Pluses are buffs compared to current rules
- In addition to these changes, some other changes changes are also needed:
- +Level 1 PP increased to 4d4+INT+blood.
- +Becoming a psionic reduces Constitution by -2.
- -Becoming a psionic reduces your mental save by -2 and your physical save by -1.
- +Lowblood save penalties reduced.
- -Racial PP/level are reduced by two all over the board.
- The Major Psion ("The Psion")
- Canon Examples: Aradia and Sollux
- +Knows two powers at level 1 (and probably MindKind/Jack of All)
- +Gains +1/+2 PP/level (undecided)
- +Can learn all powers
- +Gains +1 to Save DC's
- -Uses a d4 to roll for Hit Points
- -Can only use light armor
- -Cannot use a weapon larger than a d6
- The Minor Psion ("The Psionic Warrior")
- Canon Examples: Tavros and Vriska (Although Tavros was in general pretty shit cause Page)
- -Knows 1 Power at level 1 (and probably MindKind/Jack of All)
- -Can't learn all powers
- +Uses a d6 to rolls for Hit Points
- +Can wear Light and Medium armor
- -Cannot use a weapon larger than a d8
