The Nuzlocke Elimination Games



General Nuzlocke Rules:

-If a Pokemon faints, it is considered dead and must be RELEASED.
-You may only catch the first Pokemon you see on each route/cave/city/etc.
-You have to nickname all Pokemon
-Dupes clause (if you see a Pokemon that you already have as the first in a route, you can try until you see something new)

Rules:

-There will be 12 players total

-All players will Nuzlocke games of the same pairing (EX: Ruby/Sapphire, NOT EMERALD)
	- This can be done in one of two ways
		-Handheld
		-ROM (no fast forward)
			-Randomizer?

-Players will race to each Gym Badge. Once the first player has defeated the Gym Leader, they will post on the thread that they won, post their team, and will STOP PLAYING, the remaining players have 24 hours to defeat that Gym Leader.

-A posting of a team only includes team members and levels, nothing else.

-Players that have defeated the current Gym Leader challenge will post their victory on the thread, their team, and STOP PLAYING.

-A maximum of 10 levels can be the difference between the highest and lowest leveled Pokemon on your team when you challenge the Gym Leader.

-A minimum of 5 Pokemon may be on your team when you face a Gym Leader (excluding the first gym)

-If a Pokemon dies in a Gym Battle, you are only allowed to post the Pokemon that are alive in your party as your team!

Elimination:

-After the 24 hours have passed from the time someone has beaten a Gym Leader, the "winner" of that race will determine who of the remaining players they want to face (the challenger).

-The format of the battle will be as such: Each player will bring 4 of their six Pokemon into a battle with the EXACT stats that are on the Nuzlocke (level, item, moveset, total stats,nature)

-The battles will be played on Pokemon Showdown main server.

-The challenger, as a prize for winning, gets to choose one Pokemon that the opponent cannot use.

-The winner of the battle gets to continue the Nuzlocke. The loser, however, is eliminated.

Elite Four:

-The final 2-4 members race to beat the Elite Four

-After the first players beats the Elite Four, the remaining players have 48 hours to complete the Nuzlocke.

-The first 4 players to finish will have a 4 person tournament with seeding based on the place you finished the Nuzlocke in (time wise)

-The higher seed in the tournament will have the advantage of choosing one Pokemon from the opponents team that cannot be used.

-The winner is whoever wins the final battle!

-There will be a thread on smogon.com that keeps track of the following:

	-What Gym Are we Racing to?
	-Who won the last challenge battle?
	-Who has completed the current gym?
	-Teams
