  1. yknow emotional labor was like a concept introduced by a Marxist feminist (Silvia Fedirici) to account for the exploitation of feminine labor in the home and elsewhere. It's a useful concept and I recommend reading her work if ur interested in it

Using that concept to justify and encourage the kind of alienation that capitalism produces - i.e., wherein kindness to others is a commodity that ought to be mediated via currency - is some dystopian Newspeak bullshit and, like, probably the most insidious co-optation of revolutionary theory to date.
