2/01/2015: THE YEAR OF THE BACKLOG BEGINS IN EARNEST!

I took a mulligan with January, but now the games begin. For the rest of this year, with four exceptions (listed later), I will buy no video games. I have not beaten more than half of the games I own and I'm going to fix that. 2015 is the year of the backlog.


RULES:
-I have settled on four exceptions to the rule. In 2015, I will be buying Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (I pre-ordered a New 3DS XL and if I don't get a game for it then why did I bother), Bloodborne (I bought a PS4 and it has no games, I need to buy games for it so I feel like I made less of a mistake), Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain (see previous) and Yakuza 5 (I desperately want Yakuza Zero to come stateside so I need to support the series).

-I will not decline games sent to me as a gift. If you see a new one appear, I didn't buy it.

-Due to rampant gifting abuse by a particular horrible monster and the fact that many of the games are duplicates of games I already own, Steam games will mostly be considered a sort of bonus round at the end.

-My definition of "beating" a game means reaching a point where the game pretty much tells you you can stop, usually but not always denoted by a credits sequence. Examples: You can't beat Donkey Kong, it just sends you back to the first level after rescuing Pauline. You can beat The Tower Of Druaga, after rescuing Ki you get a thank you/credits screen and the game ends.

-I'm not going to 100% everything, but if there's a game I want to do so in I will.
