The Future of Being Cute Grills

Due to the successful thread we've had on /vg/ and the less successful threads on /v/, we have had some discussions on where to take these threads moving onwards. We are all welcome to talk about this later in the threads.

First, several anonymous users are working on making a board on infinitechan/baitchan for having a fall-back location to post things. The name hasn't been decided yet, but the link name will be https://(eight)ch.net/cgg/index.html. If worse comes to worse, there's always a place to hang out if mods on 4chan are being butts. That brings up the next discussion.

Roleplaying, specifically ERPing. Roleplay seems to be a part of this sort of thing: Make a character via the websites provided, see others making their characters, have a cooperative conversation with the lot, fun times. This turns sour in two ways. The first way is when on 4chan, we're trying to do a Hunger Game with limited images. 250 images is a lot of images to fill up, but it really gets filled up when you have people not only posting their characters, but also roleplaying with the same people with different expressions on their characters. The second way is when it turns into ERP. On /v/ or /vg/, mods hate ERP. Just look at the steam friend threads and how fast they disappear. If you want to do that, there are tons of options like ChatStep, Skype, Steam, Chatzy, etc. Or use the new board! That's also a thing you can do now.

Lastly, we wanted to mention that a thread cannot survive based on roleplaying and posting characters. There needs to be some meat that holds us together. A couple of the anonymous users have brought up the idea of doing RPG games, like Maid RPG. The details are still in primal bases, but it's a delightful alternative to bringing our characters to life than Hunger Games. We'll need some basic information like time zones and when people can play so we could make multiple games for everyone. We could keep connected via Steam or Skype or whatever is easiest for everyone.

Again, this is all a way to try and keep this general together. Posting pictures can be fun and all, but eventually the mods on 4chan will delete all the threads regarding this if there isn't anything to do except post r63 OC DONUT STEEL characters and try to screw the other people's DONUT STEELs. If you've got an idea, let everyone know and we'll talk further on the subject. Maybe play some MMORPGs that are free and have some good customization (and are fun hopefully?), maybe play some other multiplayer game that people have bought or pirated and get together to pose, the options are potentially endless.
