I've been playing gmod for quite some time. I own a server, but it's mostly just for friends and when I want to stream.

I've modded on a few servers. Exodus TTT is the only server still running. I was staff there for about 6 months. Overall I think I've been staff for an accumulative of a year+.​
Why We Should Pick You:
I play by the rules. I really like the server and the people that come, but when there are no staff on people just RDM like crazy and that drives me absolutely bananas. Especially when I try to stream on a highpop server like this.

I would also like to address one more thing: your name. Your name "Dickstorm" sounds very inappropriate and if you wish to have your application continue to be in progress, then I would like to suggest that you change your name to something that is appropriate. I hope this helped out.

It's dickstorm because that's my steam name. I temporarily changed it to fenga papit but I didn't want there to be confusion if yall tried to add me or something to talk about it.

Tbqh I don't see a problem with that kind of name but I guess I have a lower tolerance for what's appropriate name-wise, lol.

I don't mind changing it, but I only will if I get staff.

Also edited what I thought was "wrong" with my original application; direct time on server(s)

Saying that you're willing to change your name for a position on our team is not the proper mindset to become an essential part of our servers. Just a note to give to you. You're free to have whatever name you want on the forums, but our staff are expected to be the golden example for all players on our servers. However, having that kind of name will instill a bad kind of impression on all players and cause players to think that our staff are unprofessional, which is the kind of mindset that our staff are trying to prevent. I would also recommend changing your forum name (not just your steam name) if you do wish to proceed with your application as well.

Note: also, it seems that I mistook you for a male when you were actually a female. I apologize for this mistake and I wish you the best of luck on your application!

Okay so let me get this straight..

You're trying to judge my character based on the fact I don't want to change my steam name? So because my name is dickstorm, that makes me have bad character and possibly make me leave a bad impression on people that can't even see this?

That seems a little silly.

I'll change it if I need to, or I'll keep it if I don't get accepted as mod. A steam/forum name doesn't determine how someone will act on a server. Especially since I've not played with you.

I left my previous server because people would choose favorites and not go by the rules. I like to enjoy myself and make sure other people do as well, regardless of whether my name is dickstorm or happy flower time. Even without being staff, I don't RDM on a server because it's annoying and takes the fun away from other people for having to watch for a single player that can't play right, which is extremely prevalent on your servers.

If a steam/forum name is the only reason that I wouldn't get staff on the server, so be it.. That's fine with me. But don't sit there and try to judge who/how I am because I find the name "dickstorm" funny. Not only does that make you look unprofessional, but it isn't exactly user friendly. I realize that you're leaving "notes" for me, but tbqh I'll change it if I need to because there's absolutely no reason for me to do it because you may be uncomfortable or it makes me look bad on the internet.

TL;DR I'll change my name if I get staff. If not, it sticks because I think it's funny. Don't judge me or my character or professionalism because of a name.

I never said that I was judging your character based on your name. If you had that kind of impression, then I apologize for it. However, the fact is that your name has an inappropriate context to it. If you check our staff groups, then you can see that none of our staff have names that have references to any form of genitals or genitalia used in that kind of context. Your attitude and refusal to change your name despite having myself and an ADMINISTRATOR (the one in charge of picking you up) due to its inappropriate nature just earned you a -1 on my book. I'm sure that you don't have any negative intentions, but while you still choose to have that name, you're also making yourself look more unprofessional to the staff as a whole.

The staff ask people to change their names if it seems unprofessional. The fact that you're willing to change it ONLY IF you were to get staff only shows that you refuse to listen to the staff who are asking you to change your name. That kind of attitude is unacceptable and is something that can get an application quickly denied. Refer to the link I put in my previous post and search for what can get your application denied and I hope the best for you.

Actually, I've been busy all day.. I messaged the ADMINISTRATOR about changing my name before you even posted this.

You earn a -1 for coming off like a belitting asshole. I was offering to staff a server because yall need it more than I do. I enjoy the server and I'll keep doing so.. As dickstorm. I looked over your link that you oh so graciously posted for me and I changed what I thought I should.

There is absolutely no reason as to why I would change my name if I didn't have a reason to, which I do not. Excuse me if I'm coming off as a cunt but seriously.. This is a game where 12 year olds tell you to go fuck yourself. While I doubt anyone would give a poop about my name being dickstorm, I said I would change it without a problem.

Not having staff here isn't going to determine whether or not I play because I play when there are seemingly NO staff on whatsoever.

You should get your head out your bum because tbqh THAT attitude is unacceptable everywhere in society, regardless of whether it's the internet or not.
