CCPO2 Deacon

Hi everyone this is ArcheDeacon explaining the building process of my CCPO2 team. With the core having to be Gengar, and Mega Beedrill, I decided to add some bulk to the team, knowing both Gengar and Beedrill are fairly frail pokemon. Drapion, Weezing, and Golbat were my defensive core, as psychic and ground (the super effective types) were negated. I put Nidoqueen for hazard setup, and decided on my sets. Many set-up sweepers (i.e: Gyarados, Dragonite, Volcarona) would be have been a huge problem. That is when Golbat and Weezing played a large role in handling sweepers with taking hits then the use of the move "Haze". I also noticed that in adding these defensive pokemon I didn't really have much offense to my team. I made a custom Drapion, and Nidoqueen set that helped handling other types and still being bulky and taking hits. The main threats were really ground and psychic monos because once my immunities for them were gone they could just power through, so keeping as many pokemon alive was vital.
