Jan 19 20:03:25 <StarmanTheta> Our heroes stand victorious; after a long and ragged chase with the abducted Serenade through fields and abandoned roadway tunnels, the party faced their relentless pursuer, the malicious Mightyena known as Fang. Seeming to know about things beyond the party, he wasted no time in challenging the group to a fight to the death. And although he showed a strange resilience that let him fight beyond his physical limits, he ultimately paid for his aggression with his life and was stricken down, never to rise again.

  157. Jan 19 20:35:02 <StarmanTheta> The group eventually heads back--it's easy enough to navigate the tunnels with the map and sans the stress of being hunted. The treck back to Blossom Grove is, thankfully, a lot more relaxing than fleeing from it, and the lush forest seems idyllic

  159. Jan 19 20:35:48 <StarmanTheta> When you come back to the town, you see it, strangely, alive with pokemon. But instead of guards patrolling, it seems to be native pokemon, repairing things damaged and going about their daily lives with a measure of cheer you haven't seen in anyone in awhile.

  179. Jan 19 20:39:05 <StarmanTheta> One of the residents, a skiddo with a twinkle in his eye to offset the scars above the other one, steps forward. "So it's true? What we heard from those invaders? You really took him out?"

  185. Jan 19 20:40:57 <StarmanTheta> Serenade seems to be drinking up the attention, not paying much heed to the fact that she was /one/ of the invaders. "Yes, yes, the ruffian is dead, no doubt due to my expert advice! That is what he gets for manipulating me!" Not a lot of the crowd buys that line, however.

  190. Jan 19 20:42:16 <Getter> "In either case. He's gone and you can all go back to your lives...but, do be careful. The world is not as nice as it was. Be merry...but on guard as well." he begins...but it would seem that no ones listening...well. At least, not exactly. Ah well.

  195. Jan 19 20:43:34 <StarmanTheta> He's not hiding anything! He gets hoisted up too, as do Alma, Arthur, Carbink, and Kailee! They practically carry you to town hall, while Serenade follows behind, grumbling.

  197. Jan 19 20:45:05 <StarmanTheta> As you walk through the streets, you can see signs of destruction and repair, windows busted out or things turned over that are slowly but surely being repaired. In particular, a ton of grass types, from treeckos to cherrims to tropius are tending to the grove's prized gardens.

"But as I was saying, we are greatly in your debt. That mightyena came in force about a week and a half ago, and ran this place like his own little prison camp! Oh, I still weep for those that tried to resist, but I am comforted in knowing that their fight has been finished by you folk."
