Butterfly Labs Full of Shit

Is "new technology" even technology if it does not exist?
Can you sell that "new technology" if it does not exist?
Do legit businesses make effort to make sure you don't know their full names?

Butterfly Labs phone convo with "Dave" 4/11/2013

Dave- "Butterfly labs, this is Dave."

Me- "Yes Dave, I am a customer that has ordered their product months ago, and can never seem to find any statement from staff on which we will EVER receive the product we have purchased from you."

Dave- "Well we do not have a set date yet (even though you told me 2 weeks for the 2 months), but you have to understand that you are investing in new technology. It is a risk..

Me- So it is a risk to invest in technology that I was assured was complete and ready to be shipped off? Correct me if im wrong but that is not how business works here in America. You cannot say you have a completed product and take money from people promising shipping in 2 weeks when that is defiantly not the case. That is called Lying. So with that said, I would like to come take a tour of your facility ASAP since I see Josh says that is just fine and dandy now.

Dave- Yes you can set up and appointment to come view our facility.

Me- Ok so will that be at the 10770 El Monte, Leawood, KS 66211 address you have listed on butterflylabs.com? or the address at 1164 SW Hillsdale St Topeka, KS 66604? (Listed to the phone number for butterflylabs, probably Dave's Address)

Dave- "uhhh-weell-uhh I have no idea where that is."

Me- "Well OK Mr. Grell (Phone number is also listed to a D Grell, so I will assume D is for Dave in such a small company) Thank you for your time, We will be in contact soon."

Dave- "I-uh-who-I-uh I said my name is Dave I---"

And that's when I hung up, satisfied to get what i wanted to hear. That BFL is full of shit. Maybe more of you should give Mr. Dave Grell a call, maybe send him a letter to his home. Maybe go have a look for yourself...

Maybe BFL should stop bulletining and get their product out before real personal information comes out about them...
