  1. Conversation with: Bob From Accounting (Clown)
  2. You: And to what degree would it increase if I were to introduce space lube smoke grenades?
  3. Them: It would decrease. Annoyance is a detriment to funny.
  4. You: Tragedy and frustration are comedy in it's rawest form, some might say.
  5. Them: It is a form of amusement indeed, but the sheer annoyance, and anger it would create are in no weigh beneficial to the funny factor of the station, but only brings glee to one. This form of funny is destructive and wasteful.
  6. You: I was aware that the former of the two were more classic styles of clowning, or rather, that are practised quite frequently about this station.
  7. You: the latter, I should say, my apologies.
  8. You: Is that not currently the main school of clown thought?
  9. Them: Those are clowns that act for themselves, not for the crew. They are clowns that have forsaken the true clown ethics, and have begun a path down depravity.
  10. You: Then there are quite an innumerate amount of them, I must say.
  11. Them: True clowndom has been dying, I am afraid.
  12. You: Forgive me, for I am unwise to the clown then. I have only recently arrived from Boron--we have no clowns there.
  13. You: Dying or devolving? The former suggests it can be saved, the latter, reformed.
  14. Them: I wish I had answers, Leaflet. But alas, I do not. All I witness is the death of an art, the fading of joy, as clowns increase to indulge in their darkest desires.
  15. You: Then so, pray tell, what do you define as true clowning then, if that is the correct verb adjustment?
  16. Them: To perform for others, to bring them glee not despair. To satricize those high in command, and bring laughter at cost of self-worth.
  17. You: And other clowns are beginning to bring despair to others in order to fabricate comedy?
  18. Them: Correct.
  19. You: Seems like the second of the two is also frowned upon--from what I have witnessed, humans are not as fond of being corrected, satire is... A particular art that is difficult to master.
  20. You: Perhaps it is because they could merely not master the art? I question what these other clowns think.
  21. Them: My very act is satrical, I must tell you.
  22. Them: As you might know, paperwork and penpushing is a relatively new concept, one that has not yet been satricized yet.
  23. You: Yes, I can tell very much so. I am not accusing you of not being--I am saying that the art in itself, perhaps is difficult to master for others, and that is why they result to such obsceneties?
  24. You: Of course.
  25. Them: That is an outstanding observation.
  26. You: Then, if that is the case, I would say that there is hope for recovery, for I believe it is an art that can be taught--finding the niche to create or conform to.
  27. Them: This is what I hope to emulate with my performance; More clowns that follow suit, and improve on their acts, for betterment of stations galaxy wide.
  28. You: I applaud you though very much, your actions are quite... Different, I suppose would be the correct word to put it by. Refined, one might say.
  29. Them: I thank you, as much as a humble clown could.
  30. You: No, no. I must thank you, for you have corrected a grave error in my thoughts.
  31. Them: Knowledge is to be shared.
  32. You: It is sad that I see that happening little about, these days. But, alas, I live to learn.
  33. Them: That is a noble life to live.
  34. You: As is the life of a teacher, good clown. Come to chemistry when you have a moment.
