  1. I've never been good at making gold, like ever. I only relied on being lucky with world drops and boosting in challenge modes (which to be fair paid a lot of money back in MoP). However, I skipped on WoD almost entirely since I didn't enjoy the expansion - however I did lose out on all the Garrison gold.
  2. When Legion launched, as per protocol, me and a few guildies rushed to max level as quickly as we could. We hit 110 6th and 7th on the server, although I wasn't very tired after hitting max level, so I figured I'd keep on going. I'm not much of a professions guy, but I figured I'd have to do the quests at some point anyways, and besides, some gear would be nice to have.
  3. I managed to get loads of materials through skinning so I could make myself plenty of gear. I started crafting the leather gloves, but it took about 3-4 tries to get the stats that I wanted, so I figured I'd post the rest on the auction house.
  4. To my surprise, there weren't any other crafted leather or mail gear on the auction house, so it kicked in... I could make some serious money out of people who just want to reach 810 ilvl to get into heroics. And so it started... I didn't play the beta, but by accident I stumbled upon the greatest Stormscale farming location ever, which was located just outside of Thunder Totem in Highmountain, which netted about 2,000 hides for 30-40 minutes of farming. This, accompanied by Stonehide Leather farming in the Nesingwary area, resulted in a lot of mats, plus loads of bonus Blood of Sargeras. So I began crafting even the simplest of gear pieces, and they all sold for about 15-20k a pop very quickly.
  5. Leatherworking gear was very easy to make compared to Tailoring and Blacksmithing since you could craft them anywhere, for very cheap. It was also very efficient to farm the materials, especially if you can AoE the mobs which gave me 7-8 hides per mob, and I could kill 10 at a time.
  6. So the gold started piling up. Within the first day I was at 600,000 gold, day two close to a million, and when day three was over I was at 1,500,000 gold. The last day included a bunch of Obliterums since the prices of the bracers etc had dropped due to so many people hitting 110 and getting their professions up.
  7. I also traded the leather/mail braces for the cloth/plate variant that was needed for the Oblitarium quest, which netted me about 25k per trade. I also bought a lot of the raw cooking mats from the Dalaran vendor for 2 gold each, and sold them on the Auction house for roughly 500gold per stack of 5.
  8. I've only been reading this after I started making a lot of gold, and you guys give some seriously good advice! I've seen some people post their methods that I also happened to stumble upon, but I also learned some new neat things to make gold of.
  9. That was my little story. Good luck, goblins!
