Community Building Redux

So last year for Sonic's 25th anniversary in June I put on a massive series of Sonic races. It seemed like a good idea at the time but it was a lot of work and I was... kind of underwhelmed by the end result. It got a few extra runners in the end, but not the slam dunk I was looking for.

This year I want to try something smaller, tried-and-tested, and that can bring the 2D and 3D arms of the community together. I propose... the Sonic Generations Relay!

Two (or more?) teams, each playing through the games featured in the console version of Sonic Generations:
Sonic 1, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Sonic Adventure DX, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Sonic 06, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Colours
And then possibly Generations itself to finish.

I'm also hoping to have done a few races of just 1-3&K by then which should improve runners' familiarity with those games, because they're the ones I'm worried about having a good balance for. It might also be necessary that runners have a maximum of two games instead of just one. (Maybe we say they can't be consecutive so nobody has an unfair advantage?)

This isn't until June obviously but I wanted to get it out there now so that a) we can save the date (the 23rd of June is a Friday, so perhaps the next day, depending on availability) and b) people can get learning!
