Simulator Module - Isin Blockade

This simulation represents GTVA defense of a node against Shivan incursion while being unable or unwilling to collapse the node. The defenders posses knowledge of an impending and potentially overwhelming attack, but no exact intelligence on it's composition or disposition.

To avoid destruction by forward focused Shivan weaponry the blockade is positioned behind the node, and is composed of three elements intended to deal with different types of Shivan threat.

The corvette force, composed of the hypothetical Chimera class warships Karachi, Osaka, Jakarta, and New York, is positioned to bring overwhelming force to bear on any destroyer class vessels the instant they emerge from subspace. Due to the importance of preventing Shivan logistics from escaping into the system the corvettes are under strict orders to maintain their position and heading. This leaves them vulnerable to anything that is able to avoid the kill zone.

If any of the corvettes are crippled or destroyed, the Bellerophon class Lagos is on station to reinforce. If a further two corvettes are taken out of action, the Sao Paulo will move in to support.

The next element is four wings of fighters, yourself among them. Your primary duty is to protect the corvettes, be that by intercepting bombers or by destroying hostile beam weapons. Anti-subsystem missiles and anti-capital torpedoes are recommended, but you are permitted to equip yourself and your fellow fighters as you see fit.

The final element is composed of the destroyers Tokyo and Delhi. Their primary role is to engage any super-destroyer or juggernaut contacts that would survive long enough to escape the corvette kill-zone. If these two destroyers are eliminated or forced to retreat, the GTD Seoul is on standby.

Your objective is to hold out until you are relieved from blockade duty. You will be evaluated based on how many GTVA assets are destroyed or forced to withdraw.
