[06:55:57] <TGM> *As word of the weapons ban spreads, a surprising amount of both guards and civilians start gathering together outside the townhall.  Many traveling in groups with various kinds of weapons such as spears, some swords, knives, and crossbows.  Any equestrian guards that try to approach them are often accosted and fights break out in the streets, often with various injuries and a tactical retreat from one side or the other.  people are detained in the streets and a large armed mob beggins to grow around the town hall.

[07:00:14] <TGM> *tali eventually finds herself among them and is trying to calm the crowd, the equestrian guards grouping not far away, but generally out numbered.  Their is a lot of tension between the two groups.
[07:02:16] <TGM> *cannonites of all types want to know what is going on, asking Tali questions which she has no answers for.  She does however, express extreme outrage at the prospect of a weapons ban.
[07:02:21] -*- Sonata_Allegro has just barely awoken before he made his way outside, taking the side of the Equestrian guard, doing much the same before finding Tali as a familiar face. "What in the heavens is going on? This wasn't at all part of any visits!"
[07:02:46] -*- Blueshift heads out of the inn due to the sound of commotion, worriedly staring over at the groups of armed fighters, walking towards townsquare, he observes the groups

[07:06:54] <TGM> *the equestrian guards that have gathered nearby the group are a fair distance away, at least 20 meters.  flyers overhead are occasionally harrassed by canonites and vice versa.  Tai eventually convices the group to stick together near the town hall while she goes and talks to the equestrians.  A pair of town guards, one unicorn mare with a knack for fireballs and an earth pony built like a brick shit house are permited to accompany her.  "Sonata?  You mind telling me why there is a supposed weapons ban in fourcannon according to the equestrians?  They know we won't stand for this right?"

[07:13:02] -*- Blueshift drops his saddlebags to the ground, opening them up and checking he has all his belongings. Pulling out the tent and poncho, he puts them over his back and puts his saddlebags back on
[07:13:31] -*- CrystalShine sighs as she slowly approaches gathering of ponies with her spear behind saddlebag strap. Making her way through crowd, apologizing  both for pushing her way through and for inability to answer numerous questions, she finally stands in frond of Tali that left house a little while before her. "Do you know something new?" she asks, looking much more tired than she should at this time.
[07:18:28] <TGM> *fights and skimishes continue in other parts of the town as equestrian guards not guarding posts and not watching the situation at the town hall try to enforce the ban.  The number of citizens tend to mean that they are only partially successful.  unarmed and scared cannonites try to stay in their homes and many simply stay with their families.  The end result is:

[07:18:28] <TGM> 43 cannonites lightly injured but get away, many loosing a weapon or two and hiding out in the safety of other cannonites.  2 were dragged or carried to the clinic with major injuries by their comrades.
[07:18:28] <TGM> about 62 armed cannonites are at the town hall 20 of which are lightly armored and 4 with heavier armor and guard training.  many of the other town guards are scattered around town or at the barracks seeking answers.
[07:18:28] <TGM> the rest are dispersed throughout the town  in the ammount of approximately 150-ish or maybe more, additional ponies are also spread throughout the surrounding woods and farms in small amounts and it is unclear what they are facing at the moment.

Major fights have broken out and people on both sides have been injured throughout the town.  The clinic and townhall have been "recaptured" so to speak as the equestrian guards have been forced to retreat from those areas.

[07:36:12] <Sonata_Allegro> "Now hold on a minute, Councillor." Sonata began, "The weapons ban is a *temporary* ideal! You don't honestly believe we expect you to survive without weapons at all? Come now, have some sense to yourself! There's a special guest coming after me and for the sake of her security, it's not unreasonable to ask for a temporary culling of weapons. It's not like we're asking you to hand them over."
[07:37:31] <TGM> * so far, things have yet to come to a head, but much of the town is very displeased about the situations and many town guards have either held their positions unsure of how this all happened, are reporting to the barracks with the news.  A choice few have egarly jumped at the prospect of being a hero and have joined the small groups and the mob in the center of town.
[07:38:25] <TGM> *generally, confusion and misdirected anger has made things very uneasy and people have jumped to conclusions that might or might now be correct

Humans aren't trusting like ponies!  They freak out over stupid shit!"

We will try our best… But I'd be glad if you helped to calm our people and explain them that they are safe from you… Something Vanguards certainly failed to do."
[07:52:43] <TGM> *the crowd is murmuring and watching the equestrians as Tali walks back with the two escorts that wished to come with her in tow.  She gets to the front of the townhall and waits for the group to quite down, waiting for crystal to join her if she wished to.

<GMAC> Not far behind Tali walked in Glacial Shroud, carrying with her a Vault Admin uniformed interlined with Scale armor, rendering her movement a bit slower, and her body quite a bit bulkier. If she really wanted, she could probably pick a fight with one of these guards. She waited her turn in line to be scanned, as she had nothing else on her.

<GMC> All weapons are left in custody and the rest of the items written down in a file. The same pegasus from before, the one that talked at the townsquare, appears from a door and invites the cannonites and Sonata in, guiding them through richly decorated hallways up to Solare's provisional office.
<GMC> With a gentle knock on the door, she goes in and salutes before standing still and quiet at a side of the room. Solare, a tall pegasus with golden fur and blonde longe mane, sits behind a long desk. He has his armor on, but not his gauntlets. "Welcome! Please please, take a seat... thanks for being so dilligent Sargeant. So, who do we have here?"
-*- Eternity had headed here as soon as she had time, intending to find Sonata after learning about all the happenings. She lands outside, wearing her vault uniform still, as she hurries inside (hopefully) to find the Equestrian in question.
