VICTORIA, BRITISH COLUMBIA

This city, while smaller than normal vampire territory, is an important waypoint between the Camarilla-dominated societies of Seattle and Vancouver. It is often considered an "extension" of the latter, with many vampires being dissatisfied with the lupine-infestation of Vancouver and preferring Victoria's more antiquated style. As such, despite its relatively small size, its vampire population is disproportionately high, and is held on a particularly tight leash by the Camarilla.

-Craigdarroch Castle-

During the day, this massive Victorian estate is a public landmark, but at night, when its doors are locked, it becomes an important location of Elysium to the Kindred. It is the centre of Camarilla leadership in Victoria, and in a hidden hall in the basement the Prince meets with primogens and other important figures in the city to discuss politics and plans of action. It is here that new childer are tested in the laws of society.

-Dominion Astrophysical Observatory-

Location of the world's second-largest telescope. This place has been an important figure in the advancement of astronomical knowledge, but to the Kindred, it serves another purpose. Its face during the day is a number of ghouls who diligently do their normal work for the Canadian government, but they have been strictly bound to their masters to never reveal that underneath the observatory is an especially influential chantry of the Tremere. Acolytes of this chantry are not chosen lightly, and are pulled from particularly savvy mortals and the intellectual elite after close monitoring. It is rumoured that this particular chantry is quite high up on the Tremere's "pyramid", so it is very carefully watched by the Princes of all the Northwestern cities.

Given the high vampire population of Victoria, its division of the RCMP is tightly monitored. Though things continue as normal during the day, the night shifts are infiltrated with a handful of Kindred, who work to uphold the Masquerade. Not all of them were planted by the Camarilla, though. Some are independent neonates and just trying to get by, even resenting the attempts to meddle in their normal work.

-Sangria-

A tiny, almost unknown nightclub tucked away in one of the backstreets, it is entirely owned and run by Kindred. It is only mildly tolerated by the Camarilla, as it has become a den for drugged-up blood dolls, mostly the ghouls of the city's less-savoury Kindred. Though it is a safe space for vampires (though not an official Elysium location) and a reliable meeting space, feed here at your own risk.
