  3. So, since yesterday, all the websites from the MEGA group (such as Megaupload or Megavideo, for the most famous) are inaccessible for anybody in the world.
  4. We finally know today why.
  5. In fact, it is one of the biggest operation on the Internet conducted by the FBI.

  7. Today, the law enforcement did a rush on the Kim Dotcom's house to arrest him and three of his associates.
  8. Autorities said that it was not easy for them to arrest Kim Dotcom, formely known as Kim Schmitz, because he had bodyguards and weapons in his house.
  9. However, the arrest ended without any injury.
  10. The accused risk a fifty-year and five hundred million dollars penalty for violation of copyrights and money laundering.
  11. But it's not only a juridic case, it's something that concerns a lot of people all over the world.
  12. Indeed, just Megaupload was 4% of the world internet trafic with more than one hundred and fifty million registered accounts.

  14. But, most of people think that this closure is unjustified, as far as not everybody was using Megaupload to share illegal files.
  15. For example, some people were using the file hosting service to share pictures of their family,  professional documents or even personnal creations.
  16. There are already protest groups that fight against what they think is an injustice.
  17. The most famous is probably Anonymous, which is asking internet users to help them to take down website from the governement or from multinational companies such as Universal or Sony.
  18. Whatever will hapen from now, it's a giant of the Internet that fell, and we will hear about it for a long time.
