-Kiidon was born in a minor clan farming village
-The people of the village are known for toxin resilience, results of high poison type populations in said farmland.
-At age 4, Kiidon sees his home undergo great famine
-One day, a rich traveler arrives, seeking over a dozen youth for (purchase) apprenticeship. For the gold and the hope that the children will have better lives, the parents gladly offer them up.
-The Traveler returns the children to his home in the imperial capital, and with their first good meal under a roof, POISONS them.
-Most die, but a few, Kiidon among them,survive.

- His experience as a custodian in the imperial city has taught him social etiquette, though his true opinions of the court extend only as far as dictated by his obscure handler/master.
