I need to ask a favor of you from one Radius player to another. In Season 6 we had the highest amount of Radius captains by percentage than we have ever had. It has made Radius players incredibly likely to play matches on Radius, and lots of Radius players end up rarely playing on non-Radius servers and almost always playing on Radius. That is still not nearly enough. Personally, I have gone 6 seasons of MLTP and I had to play on Sphere in the playoffs one time. It fucking sucked.
Season 7, the situation is getting worse. For some reason, "the leadership" is looking to only make 8/20 teams Radius, which is a lower percentage than even last season. Radius has never had majority representation, and as such, we have little/no voice in getting a change in the future by 60% veto over lame Origin/Centra captains.
You can change this, if you care. You are one of the most notable Radius players, and if you were willing to temporarily remove your name from the draft packet, and make a stand, it would really help. The goal would be to get 16 Radius teams, so that they can face other 4 Origin teams once per season and play up to 100% of their playoff matches on Radius. Right now, Radius teams would play around 75% of their playoff matches on Radius. Just so you can see the math, 100%>75%.
I'm trying to get all the notable Radius players on board, so that we can guaranteed get more Radius captains in the mix, and consequently, a better percentage of playoff games played on Radius. I am also going to make a stand, and I'm going to try to get all the already confirmed Radius captains on board as well.
How do you feel about this? Let me know, I think this is our only opportunity to really enact change.
