  1. Pinkie Pie bounced along the path, headed through Ponyville. The sun was setting on the small town. She smiled as she thought about what was in store for her. Tonight, she was house sitting for the Mayor!
  2.
  3. Mayor Mare had originally asked Fluttershy, but the yellow pegasus was busy with a mole infestation at Sweet Apple Acres. Applejack naturally couldn’t help either. So, Fluttershy had turned to Pinkie Pie. Or rather, Fluttershy had turned to her other friends. Pinkie Pie had been her fourth choice.
  4.
  5. That was alright. It wasn’t like she had a reputation for being a super responsible pony or anything. But tonight, she would show them that she, Pinkie Pie, could be as responsible as any of them. Plus, besides the pride aspect, Pinkie Pie was going to get paid a lot of bits for this. Think of all the candy she could buy!
  6.
  7. Pinkie Pie waltzed up to the Mayor’s front door, and opened it with the spare key. “Hello! Is anyone home?”
  8.
  9. Pinkie Pie giggled to herself. Obviously, no one was here. Mayor Mare was in Canterlot for some super secret government meeting. Pinkie put her stuff down on the sofa. She switched on a lamp, and reached into her bag for her comic book.
  10.
  11. Suddenly, Pinkie felt a tickle in her nose. She was going to sneeze. “Ahh.. Aaahhchew!”
  12.
  13. Pinkie Pie dived under the couch. Any second now, the ominous knock at the door would come. Any second now. “Hmmm…”
  14.
  15. If the sneeze hadn’t been her Pinkie sense warning her about ghosts, then what was it? Whatever it was, it was still here. Pinkie Pie’s nostrils flared as her head tilted back, and her eyes squeezed shut. “Aah.. AAH… AahCHEWWiee!”
  16.
  17. Pinkie Pie let out a forceful sneeze, bending over forwards. And her nose still tickled. Pinkie Pie rubbed at it with her hoof. “Why am I so sneezy?”
  18.
  19. As if to answer her question, a fluffy grey cat walked out of the hall and into the living room. “So you’re the reason… No one told me the mayor had a cat…”
  20.
  21. “Wait, I guess that’s the reason I needed to house-sit in the first place.” Pinkie Pie noticed a note on the fridge. She read it aloud. “Pinkie Pie: Be safe! Don’t forget to feed the cats. Their food is in the cupboard.”
  22.
  23. “CatSSS?” Pinkie Pie asked no one in particular. She opened the cupboard. Inside were four enormous bags of cat food, and no pony food. “Just how many cats does the mayor have?”
  24.
  25. Pinkie could feel a sneeze coming on as she scooped cat food into the bowls that lined the walls. Four bowls. Four cats. Hopefully she would be able to manage the night. Her nose tickled from thinking about it.
  26.
  27. Or, perhaps, her nose tickled from the cats that had come into the room at the sound of food being served. Pinkie turned around. Oh dear. “There’s a laahh… laaah… lot more then four cats! HaaaaahCHEEWW!”
  28.
  29. The cats crowded around their food bowls, munching away. Pinkie Pie tried to count them. “One… two… three… Aahhcheww! four… fi.. fi… Achew! Achew! Ahh.. AaaCHEEWW!”
  30.
  31. It was impossible. There were at least ten cats, and her allergies were going haywire. She needed to get out of the kitchen. She retreated into the living room. “Ahh… Ahh.. Haaaahcheww!”
  32.
  33. Pinkie Pie needed to stop sneezing. If she didn’t stop soon, she would just keep going all night. She rubbed at her nose with her hoof, trying to quell the tickle. Her head tilted back as another sneeze built. Her eyes squeezed shut. “Ahh.. Aah..”
  34.
  35. Perhaps just one more. She simply had to. “AhhhCHOOOOH!”
  36.
  37. Pinkie Pie released an enormous sneeze. Despite the relief she expected, her nose now tickled worse than ever. “Ahh…”
  38.
  39. She ran into the bathroom, and splashed water on her face. The tickle eased up, slightly, and the sneeze backed off. Pinkie Pie grabbed a tissue and held it to her snout, then blew her nose loudly. The rush of air through her sensitive nostrils caused her head to tilt back as another sneeze built. She briefly considered trying to hold it in, but it came on far too quickly. “Aaaahcheeew!”
  40.
  41. Pinkie’s head snapped forwards as she sneezed into the tissue. She sniffled, gingerly. Her nose prickled slightly, but for the most part, her sneezes had stopped. She grabbed a few tissues and stuffed them into her mane for later.
  42.
  43. As Pinkie Pie opened the bathroom door, three of Mayor Mare’s cats walked by. Pinkie quickly brought a hoof to her nose, which had begun to tickle ever so slightly. She spoke aloud to herself. “Don’t sneeze, Pinkie…”
  44.
  45. The tickle in her nose continued to grow as she sat down to continue her comic book. She took a tissue out of her mane and blew her nose again. It offered some relief, but there had to be cat fur everywhere in this house. Pinkie Pie’s nose still itched for relief, but she was determined to deny it, lest she have another sneezing fit.
  46.
  47. Pinkie continued to read her comic book, turning the pages with one hoof, and keeping the other on her ticklish snout. Suddenly, a stray sniffle made the tickle in her nose spike, jolting her out of her reading. She rubbed at her nose furiously, trying to stop from sneezing. “Don’t sneeze. Don’t sneeze… Don’t aah… Aah… Sneeze… Pheww…”
  48.
  49. She managed to stop the tickle before she went over the edge. As Pinkie opened her eyes, she noticed that the massive grey cat from earlier had jumped up onto the couch beside her. She scooted away from it. “Go away!”
  50.
  51. “Mrrroooww?” The cat meowed, and looked at her. It began walking towards her. Pinkie scooted even farther away, but she could feel the sneeze coming on.
  52.
  53. “Ahh… Pinkie… Ahh… Ahh… Don’t sneeze…” Pinkie rubbed at her nose relentlessly. If she could just get the cat to go away, she could blow her nose and this would all be over. She screeched at the cat. “Bad! Shoo!”
  54.
  55. However, the cat didn’t seem to want to listen. It climbed onto Pinkie Pie’s stomach. She scooted away from it, until her upper back was hanging off of the side of the couch. The tickle was monstrous at this point, and it was all Pinkie could do to keep from sneezing. “Ahh… Ahh! Ehh! Don’t… Ahh… Aaah! AAHH! Snee… Snee… Ahhh! EHHEH!”
  56.
  57. The cat walked up Pinkie Pie, getting closer to her face. Her nose begged for release, but still she held on. She couldn’t keep it up for much longer, though. Suddenly, the cat turned around. Pinkie Pie would have been thrilled, were it not for the fact that the cat’s tail brushed against her nose. There was no longer any choice in the matter. She was going to sneeze, like it or not. “Ahh! Eehh! Ehhhhhh! KKKAAAAHHHCHHHOOOOOOOOHH!”
  58.
  59. Pinkie Pie exploded, falling backwards off of the couch. The cat, probably startled, darted away. Pinkie’s head tilted back as another sneeze grew. She pushed her hoof against her snout. “Ahh… Don’t snee… Aah!”
  60.
  61. But Pinkie Pie’s nose had gotten a taste of relief, and it wanted more. She had to sneeze again. “Ahh! Ahh! Aaayiishhhhheeeww! Ahh.. Aah… Ahh! Aaaacheeeww!”
  62.
  63. “Ahh… Pinkie… Don’t ahhh… sneeze… Don’t sneeze… Ahh… Ahh… Don’t snuhuhHAAH! HAHH! DON’T! HAAAH! HAACHHOOOH! HAAACHHOOH!” Pinkie Pie stood up. She really needed to stop sneezing, but once she started, it was difficult to stop. She rubbed her nose furiously. “Ahh… Don’t sneeze… Ahh… Don’t… Ahhh… So… tihHAAH… TicklyyaaaaSHEEEWWW!”
  64.
  65. Just one more, then she would stop for real. This was going to be a big one. Her hoof slipped off of her nose and began fanning in front of her face.
  66.
  67. “Ahh…” Pinkie Pie began. “Ahhh! Ahhh…”
  68.
  69. With each hitching breath, Pinkie leaned farther backwards, craning her neck and tilting her head, winding up for the giant sneeze. “Ahh… AAH… AAHH! EHH… AHH… AHHAAHH!”
  70.
  71. “GGAARRAAAASSHHHOOOOOOOOHH!” Pinkie Pie exploded, air rushing out of her lungs. Her face pressed against the ground, propelled forwards by the force of the sneeze. The carpet was covered in cat fur. Pinkie Pie desperately needed to sneeze again.
  72.
  73. “Don’t…” She whined, but the tickle was too much. Her lips curled back into a scream. “AAAH! HAHHH!”
  74.
  75. “AAAAACHOOOH! AAHAAAHHCHOOOHH!” Pinkie Pie sneezed violently. Each sneeze was offering her a brief moment of relief, but in less than a second, the tickle rushed back into her sinuses, demanding that she release again. And again. “Haaah… HAAH… Kaaaachheeewwwiieee!”
  76.
  77. Pinkie Pie stood up and began to walk into the bathroom. After a few steps, the urge to sneeze became too great, and she stopped, her head tilting back. The hall light shined in her eyes, and the tickle intensified, causing her to release a barrage of sneezes.
  78.
  79. “Haaacheew! Haahh.. Aaacheeew! AaaCHEWWW! Ahhh… AHHHHSHOOH! Ahhh.. Acheeww! Acheeeww! Aaashheeeww! Ahh-ahhh… Acheeewiiee!”
  80.
  81. Pinkie Pie rushed into the bathroom, and jumped into the shower without even letting the water heat up. She shivered, and scrubbed at her nose violently, trying to relieve it from the dander. A tickle surged through her nose, and she sneezed instantly. “RIIIASHHHHHOOH!”
  82.
  83. Finally, the tickle receded. Pinkie Pie sighed. It was going to be a long night.
