  1. The princess did actually try to pull off the whole isolation schtick, mind you.

She had it all planned out in her head - because the princess never did anything before Properly Planning - and it all planned out very nice, very (over)dramatic - church-like and black and imposing on the outside, blessed with stone and steel to stand against the too-bright white of the inside (accented with blue and gold of course,) lavished with flowers and marble statues and a stillness to the air, a hollow feeling to something otherwise perfectly fine. She admittedly took some cues from Kingdom Hearts, in hindsight, but whatever. Little things.

  5. Villains always got the cooler aesthetic. Or, well, technically the villain. Antagonist, maybe? Villain would imply she was doing something bad.

Unfortunately while she loved to play up the whole quiet tragedy look to the area, it didn’t change the fact that even with her pushing the offensive as hard as she (un)reasonably could, there was a shitton of waiting. (Mulling on the throne was only so cool as the people catching you in the act anyways, although she did admittedly devote some time practicing to the best pose to settle into.) Not that she’d lower herself to such menial tasks such as cleaning, mind you. Or, well, manually, anyways. She wouldn’t count a spell or two and seriously, do you know how hard it can be to dust off all the white like ok -

  11. Being a ruler had its downtimes, and a person can only walk around the halls and brood so much before enough was enough.
