  23. After upgrading BE 12.5 to 2012 all backups are failing with ODBC error

  28. TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS PERFORMED:

  30. - Called the customer and took remote session.
  31. - After upgrading to BE 2012, all backups are failing.
  32. - Customer said he updated the media server & remote agents SP2 and 1 hotfix, but still same error.
  33. - He said jobs are failing with following errors:

  35. ODBC error.possible lost connection to database or unsuccssfull access to catalog index in the database.

  57. - Then restarted BE services.
  58. - Tried running test backup job, but failed with same error.
  59. - Collected vxgather and escalating the case with customers permission.
