Mar 29 12:54:00 <Cezar>	A girl sat in the common room, stretched out on the sofa lazily. She was pale with silver-colored hair and wore a grey hoodie and blue jeans. Her flats sat next to the couch, tucked neatly next to her. Her feet stretched out to the end of the couch as she just rested for a bit.
Mar 29 12:58:11 <Knave>	Callum walked into the common room from outside. He'd learned the layout of the school well enough now that his jog around the grounds was down to a respectable time. He paused in place as he noticed the girl, and havered between various options before raising a hand in greeting and saying, "Hey."
Mar 29 13:01:31 <Cezar>	The girl looked up at him with metallic-looking silver eyes, "Hey, there." She said in a soft voice and a gentle smile. She sat up a bit and fixed her hoodie, which had been scuffed up to expose her belly for a moment, "What's up?" She asked him.
Mar 29 13:02:59 <Knave>	"Just... thought I'd introduce myself." Callum appeared to suddenly notice the distance between them, and sprang into life to cross the room and offer his hand to shake, "I'm Callum."
Mar 29 13:04:59 <Cezar>	She looked at Callum with interest and shook his hand. Her hand was a little cold. Not supernaturally so, but it was noticeable. Her handshake was very gentle, "I'm Celeste. I's good to meet you, Callum." When she released her hand, she brushed the hair on her face over her ear.
Mar 29 13:08:15 <Knave>	Callum's hand, by contrast, was warm and not comfortably sweaty. "You too, miss." Callum sat down on the adjacent couch, a little uncertain of himself, "Have you been here for long?"
Mar 29 13:09:41 <Cezar>	She nodded, "Yeah, I've been here for a minute." She smiled, "What about you? Are you new here?"
Mar 29 13:10:58 <Knave>	"Pretty new, yeah." Callum nodded his head, "Just bussed in from Kansas a couple days ago. Still trying to get a handle on what things are like here."
Mar 29 13:15:42 <Cezar>	"Huh! Well, welcome to Sunnybrook." She smiles sweetly at him and pulls her feet up onto the couch, "What do you think so far?"
Mar 29 13:17:18 <Knave>	"It's nice enough." Callum hunches forward, his sizeable forearms resting on his knees, "Class is fine, I guess. The grounds are pretty, and the students seem nice."
Mar 29 13:18:16 <Cezar>	"Yeah. There's a lot more to see. You'll find out the longer you're here..." She said, "There are a /lot/ of relationships here."
Mar 29 13:20:38 <Knave>	Callum blinked, looking off at a wall passively, "Well, I don't know about any of that." He reached up a hand and slowly rubbed the back of his broad neck, the corner of his mouth wrinkling.
Mar 29 13:23:37 <Cezar>	"Hm? What do you mean?" She asked him, watching Callum from her couch. She passively rubbed her arm— Celeste seemed so calm. Tranquil. Very, very content.
Mar 29 13:25:07 <Knave>	"Just," He refocused his gaze on her and shrugged his shoulders, "Don't figure that what people do with each other is any of my business, really, is all."
Mar 29 13:27:01 <Cezar>	"Oh... yeah, of course." She shrugged, "But it happens a lot. It's like everyone doesn't last a week here without getting into some relationship, you know?"
Mar 29 13:28:51 <Knave>	"Hmm." Callum nodded, a pensive look on his face. After quite a long pause, he commented, "Makes sense, I guess."
Mar 29 13:33:43 <Cezar>	"I dunno. I guess some people are always looking for someone or something. I never really had that sort of thing. At least not here. I guess it's just because" Celeste paused, "Anyway... is it okay if I ask you what you can do? Like, your power? Some people are offended."
Mar 29 13:34:57 <Knave>	Callum shrugged, "I'm pretty strong. Not much hurts me." He paused, his mouth a small, in-drawn line as he thought, "That's pretty much all there is."
Mar 29 13:35:27 <Cezar>	"So, like.. uhm... super strength?" She asked.
Mar 29 13:36:14 <Knave>	Callum nodded again, looking down as his cheeks flushed for a moment, "Yeah."
Mar 29 13:38:00 <Cezar>	"Cool." She smiled at him, "It's like superman or something."
Mar 29 13:38:34 <Knave>	"Hm." He nodded again, then looked up to Celeste, "What about you, if you don't mind me asking?"
Mar 29 13:47:23 <Cezar>	"Me? Oh... the easiest way I can explain it is like... moon magic. Except it's exclusive to me for... reasons."
Mar 29 13:48:02 <Knave>	Callum looked at the girl blankly. "Oh." He nodded, as if he understood.
Mar 29 13:50:18 <Cezar>	"I can also control water, too... like tides and stuff..."
Mar 29 13:51:00 <Knave>	"Oh." Callum nodded, put out a smile, "That makes sense." He remembered something about the moon controlling the tides. That seemed logical to him.
Mar 29 13:52:02 <Cezar>	"Do you want me to show you?" She asked.
Mar 29 13:52:24 <Knave>	"Uh... sure?" Callum looked at her, nonplussed, and entirely unsure what to expect.

Mar 29 13:56:13 <Cezar>	She reached into her backpack and pulled out a bottle of water. Taking off the top, she concentrated on the water and her hair and eyes flashed, glowing a brilliant electric blue. Her hair started to float as if it were suspended in water. it began to float out like a snake and move in the air as if it were alive.
Mar 29 13:56:59 <Knave>	Callum watched this unfold, sitting up straighter, his mouth open slightly. "Huh." He intoned.
Mar 29 13:57:53 <Cezar>	She made the water float into her mouth ans swallowed. Her hair fell back to her shoulders and it and her eyes became normal again. She smiled at him, giggling softly, "That's just a little of what I can do."
Mar 29 13:59:53 <Knave>	"Very impressive." He said, smiling. Then, raising an eyebrow, he asked, "So how's a girl get to be magical? Again, if it's not rude to ask."
Mar 29 14:01:14 <Cezar>	"How? Oh.. uh, buy right of birth, I guess...." She explained, "I'm the daughter of the moon."
Mar 29 14:02:25 <Knave>	"Oh." Callum nodded, then looked up at the ceiling for some time. Then, looking back at Celeste, he said with all apparent sincerity, "I enjoy your mother's work."
Mar 29 14:04:43 <Cezar>	"Father, I think? Err... my mother was human." She said, "She was a virgin."
Mar 29 14:06:02 <Knave>	A red wave ran across Callum's blank face as the corner of his mouth wobbled. "It'd be a strange world if we were all the same." He said cryptically before standing up, "I should probably go hit the shower."
Mar 29 14:08:06 <Cezar>	"Oh. Okay..." She seemed a little disappointed by his leaving so soon, "Hey, you want my phone number before you leave?"
Mar 29 14:08:44 <Knave>	"Um," The blush stayed on his cheeks and ears, and he finished uncertainly, "Sure."
Mar 29 14:09:59 <Cezar>	She pulls out her phone from her back pocket and gives him her number.
Mar 29 14:11:32 <Knave>	Callum focuses intently on his own phone, a sturdy outdated model, for some time. Slightly more than would justify the text of "Hey." Celeste receives to send her his number.
Mar 29 14:15:19 <Cezar>	<Hi :P> She texts back and smiles at him, "Cool. Can't wait to see you again. We can hang out whenever. You can text me whenever, too."
Mar 29 14:15:53 <Knave>	"Sure thing. See you around." He smiles at her as he turns to head into the dorm building.
Mar 29 14:18:32 <Cezar>	She waves him off and goes to sit on the couch again, sighing. Alone again....
