people to inform that /foolz/ is dead

  1. /foolz/ as it was is officially dead, and we've been told it's not coming back
  2. for the first few hours, the reasoning was unknown, but we sort of know now (but we don't know why the suddenness)

  4. apparently /foolz/ was meant to shut down when archive.moe took over, but it was decided to keep it up because of our nice little community resting there
  5. it was said that spam had become a problem recently, and rather than spend a lot of time coding a solution to fight against it, they decided to pull the plug
  6. (by the way the spam killing effort was apparently amazing because there seemed to be almost none of it at our /pc/ threads)

  9. we assembled as many people as we could on irc (irc.rizon.net #dedfoolz) to talk about what to do next
  10. 8 chan was suggested but that's gross, twitter also suggested and also gross, hosting our own thing wasn't very viable due to lack of resources to host for the amount of people we have
  11. junk apparently asked blade to make us a new home, and that happened, and now we can use there (https://archive.loveisover.me/foolz/)

  13. old /foolz/ data is apparently not totally completely gone, depending on who you're talking to, but accessing it is something that will probably never happen again
  14. rip old /foolz/ main threads, diary threads, ghost threads, image dump threads, hidden threads, angry threads, loving threads, all the posts, all the images, all the view sames, etc

  19. thank you lost /foolz/ users that helped shape our strong and loving community, past and present
