*Knock, knock*

Ahhh, finally the last guest arrives.

"Who is it?"
"Beelzebub! And I brought my fluffy White Tiger to dinner. I hope that's okay."
"Fine! I'm sure Tyler won't mind some company."

We sit down at the table, ready to carve the Minotaur. The family is all here, for once, rejoicing in each other's company. Cousin Hitch, Cousin Wendigo, Aunt Lu Bu (who recently divorced Uncle Ares...really messy situation with lots of prenuptial legal jargon), Grandma Morrigan and Grandpa Hector, my mom Rahpael and dad Beowulf (who just got back from a fishing trip), and my fiance Beelzeboob.

Everything started out fine. The family was telling each other stories about their own families, their interests, and their careers. For some reason, Tyler and White Tiger were chasing each other and playing around in the backyard more violent than usual. I know cats and dogs don't normally get along, but they usually do. So I thought nothing of it.

Ding! Come minotaur-carving time, and suddenly a giant gust of wind rips off the screen door! Three shadowy figures are standing at under the frame.

"Y'all di't ferget about [I]us[/I] didya??"

Crap. Cerebrus. The notorious gang of three tiny girls who crash random Thanksgivings.

"Whur's our food?! We want some of that there mee-no-taw, and we ain't leavin' 'til we git some!"

Well, I could go on about the awesome fight that happened right then. I could tell you about all the punches, kicks, flips, super powers, and skimpy clothing. But I would rather be anti-climactic and just say that we gave them our minotaur. Our precious, delicious minotaur. And Thanksgiving was ruined by three little half-cat, half-demon girls.
