Kotero and Senonu are both agents for the Deathlords. Despite pretenses of military action, neither Mask of Winters nor Walker in Darkness are actually planning anything so overt and dull. No, they've found a way to subjugate possibly all of Creation, including the Exalted themselves. Maybe even something that could affect the alien Raksha and the Gods.

 

It all started with a small package one of Walker's nemessaries found in a First Age ruin. The container was severely damaged, but the contents, wrapped in a metallic foil, were as perfect as the day they were created. It was brought before an Abyssal who unwrapped one of the contents and, in his curiosity, consumed it... he was never the same, he was a being possessed.

 

What he had found was a wonder of the First Age, a delicious, artificial creation that could be compared to no current food or pleasure. Sex, drink, drugs... all of them no longer held any desire for him. All he needed, were more of these... these... Twessence Snack Cakes(tm). So perfect was their construction, that even after decades or centuries, they would not decay.

 

Senonu was lured in by the wonder of something First Age, he tasted one, and that is why his Temperance is now so great: Nothing else can really seduce him after this. Kotero has not yet given in, but he knows that something this wondrous would bring peace to all of Creation, would make every man, woman, child and Exalt feel sated. Neither have considered how those addicted to these delicacies might let themselves be subjugated, simply to gain more... but the Deathlords have.

 

They know that one of the ancient factories used for creating these lies below either Nexus or Great Forks, or that perhaps the secret of their construction can be found in one of the First Age ruins nearby. Woe betide Creation if they discover these, as only the strongest of minds can resist after having a mere taste.

Anyone who consumes a Twessence Snack Cake must roll against their Temperance or Conviction, whichever is higher, penalized by one die for every Twessence Snack Cake consumed(this penalty disappears at the rate of one die penalty per year). If they fail, their Motivation is permanently replaced with "Acquire More Snack Cakes."

 

Twessence Snack Cakes provide as much nutrition as a full meal, but cause no cavities, obesity or other issues no matter how many are consumed. Rumours that Wyldshaping is involved in their creation and that excessive consumption can lead to Wyld mutations results in rapid prosecution by currently-dormant Rakshess Brand Legal Constructs(Imagine warstriders with briefcases).
