  1. Yasha Levine's behavior doesn't simply resort to reporting on Tor project developers as a whole. The Pando reporters Twitter account seem solely focused on @puellavulnerata alone, and excessive RTs about her and links to her seem to have had the net effect of drawing in trolls, starting a de facto harassment campaign.
  2.
  3. Here, Levine talks about "Tor devs" in the plural, but links only to @puellavulnerata's account here. There's an additional imputation that she is anti-Semitic by association.

  6.
  7. Levine also RTs several Twitter accounts involved in the harassment campaign, for example:

  9. (RT) https://twitter.com/Umfuld/status/534262116199321600
  10. let alone how Tor is a "cyber weapon" is utterly misleading and without basis in reality. Levine RTs this anyway to amplify the message that Tor is somehow a "weapon".
  11.
  12. Levine again focuses on @puellavulnerata here, and not the other developers. Why is that? Why does Levine feel that @puellavulnerata, who, by the image *he himself* provides, earns the *least money* on that list? Why is there no obsessive linking to Mathewson's or Dingledine's Twitter accounts, even though they have ostensibly *more senior* positions? The obsessive focus here on a mere developer has had the net effect of ruining her mental health and impairing the ability for her to do her job. This is dangerous territory for a journalist to be wading into.

  15.
  16. Again, Levine RTs a comment from *someone else entirely*, @rechelon, while instead linking to @puellavulnerata, further drawing harassment to her account.

  18.
  19. Levine also RTs comments further denigrating @puellavulnerata's status as a talented and intelligent developer. Levine moves past reporting about funding issues and instead amplifies character assassination.

  21.
  22. Mark Ames, another Pando journalist, also is involved tangentially in this harassment campaign. Here, he makes a disturbing tweet about @puellvulnerata's hair and appearance, and has also RT'd Levine's problematic tweets as well.

  24. (RT) https://twitter.com/yashalevine/status/534041699241062400
  25.
  26. She may be upset, but because of this campaign, it seems she has good reason to, with all the concerted effort by Levine to draw others to her account.
  27. https://twitter.com/yashalevine/status/536334836483358721
  28.
  29. Overall, the fact that Pando journalists talk about Tor funding, while instead obsessively write articles focusing on one Tor developer, what she has to say on Twitter while talking on behalf of herself only, and to have these journalists tweet repeatedly information making imputations and claims about her alone constitutes unprofessional behavior and conduct. In any event, @puellavulnerata's behavior is irrelevant -- no one, regardless of this behavior, merits this sort of harassment. For an organization to be concerned about women in tech, this behavior is damning and requires action on the part of Pando.
